Haha, second comment in a row. But seriously i woke up at 8:59 am today and i started reading "The Favorite" (again) and i just now at 7:35 pm finished reading this. I think this is my 4th or 5th time reading the stories and seriously i just love them!

Didn't get as many comments as the story should have gotten though, love it.

Wow, this is the most awsomest story i have ever read, no kidding. I actually cried somewhere here and in ''the favorite'' im deffinatly reading this again. AWSOME!

Strangely enough, I actually feel a little bad for James. I mean, I can understand his disappointment now that Matt's back, but at the same time, it's silly. I mean, even if Matt had have stayed out of the picture, her heart still would've been with him and unlikely ever to be with James.

:( I didn't like the bit about Zack and his childhood... just coz I could picture it and it tugged at my heartstrings... majorly :( Poor Zack!

Ooh... some girl is making eyes at Matt? Well, she best set those eyes elsewhere... like on James. Megan is not the type to give up without a fight... and that girl does not want to go up against our Megan!

Aww! He asked her to marry him.... so adorable. Her answer wasn't a surprise... those two are perfect for each other. hahaha.

The epilogue was nicely told and I like the way you twisted the end of it. It was nice to see how all their lives played out in a nutshell. So yes, thank you for that! :)

Loved the entire story, and it's prequel, and I sincerely look forward to more works from you in the future :)

Aww! I loved the end! And I loved that it was their daughter telling the story the whole time. This was a really amazing story. I love Queen Bee as well, but I'm glad you took the time to update this one more.

Aww, that's so sweet that held onto her ribbon. It's such a small thing, but it'd still bring him comfort at least a little... which was cool :)

His life story was quite sad. He obviously holds a lot of guilt over his mothers death, but really, his father was a prick and there wasn't really a hell of a lot he could do about that. And Zacky... jeez.... I think he had it worse off. Poor guy... I wonder how he deals with his upbringing and knowing that he was so outcast from his own family because of Matt and Brian's father... that's very sad.

Anyways, looking forward to the next two chapters! And a new one to Queen Bee :)

Megan brought his lips to hers and kissed him. The feeling of his lips on hers made her melt in his arms. It brought so much joy to her that she could barely stand not smiling in their kiss.

You have no idea how awesome it is to read that... I'm so damn happy right now! I look like a total psycho, sitting here grinning like a fool at my laptop, but I don't care! He's not dead! None of them are! :D

Aww... I'm so happy they're back together! Woohoo!

I can't wait to read more about those two adorable pair :D

Omfg.... So I said a while ago that I didn't think they were really dead, but then you freaking fooled me by them not coming back! But as soon as the doctor came knocking, I actually yelled out "Omg, omg! He's alive!" and my brother looked at me like I had finally gone off the deep end lol

It broke her heart to see a love blossoming after hers had died…

It breaks my heart! They're too perfect together... why did he have to die? I don't like the idea of Matthew dying.. nor Brian or Zacky. I'm depressed now :(

The grape picking was a nice moment. Just seeing how the girls are getting along and stuff. It's good.. nice to see she's made friends with Leana :)

Not a big fan of the kiss... I know that he's been nice and hasn't forced himself on her, but I still don't like it. He's not Matt... it's just not right unless it's him. haha. You've made their relationship far to epic for me to accept her with anyone else. Whether it's happily or not. haha.

It doesn't seem to matter what the situation is or what she's saying... she still has a way with words that makes her a complete bitch! hahaha.

It really saddens me when she thinks about Matt being gone and not being able to tell him about her past and how much she cares for him. I'm hoping for a miracle... that they're not dead and they'd just been playing dead... I know that's it's probably in vain... but I'm hoping!

“You’re not the only one. We lost people too out there. I know exactly how you feel. Zack meant everything to me; he saved me when everyone else was hurting me. He took me in knowing what his neighbors would think when they saw him holding a young boy’s hand. Zack loved me,”

That nearly broke my heart... it's so sad. Poor Johnny :(

Aww, Leana! So Jimmy has a girl... that's so adorable. Though.. hmm.. would that be allowed if they're slaves? I guess I'll find out. hahaha.

Megan could not help but notice his eyes constantly falling on her. She knew right away what he was thinking, and Megan would not have it. If he came anywhere near her in an inappropriate way, Megan would know how to handle it.

Oh, god! I seriously hope this isn't another man looking to rape the poor girl! Jeez! I think she's had enough of that in her lifetime... :(

Well, this just gets more and more interesting... I'm intrigued to find out what's to come, as always...

Ouch... that sounds so painful. Reading it, I acually cringed. =\

If Megan wasn’t a slave anymore, she was a sinner.

Depending on the situation, I really think sinner is better. I mean, not when it comes to being Matt's slave, it isn't. But when it comes down to being Jacoby's slave or her own person who is a sinner... sinner wins, hands down.

Megan had always been the follower. With her leader dead, could she stand up to the plate?

To be honest, honey, at this point you really don't have a choice. You are the leader.

“What about when I start to bleed more? Brian said wounds bleed more when you take the object out! And I can see some lead still in there!”

I know it's not meant to be a funny moment.. but I couldn't help but giggle at the "And I can see some lead still in there" comment. It was amusing. haha.

The frustration Megan is feeling over the situation is hard to deal with. On the one hand, you understand getting snappy at Michelle and thinking pretty mean things about her in light of the situation. But on the other, Megan is being a lil too hard on her, in the sense that she's not the only one who's suffered. She's assumed the role of leader.. it may not have happened intentionally, but in a way, it's expected she would. After all... her master was the master of the house, so she would in a sense be held at a higher regard than the other slaves. At least, in theory.

Her thoughts about wishing Matt hadn't been killed are heart breaking. They're so genuine and exactly what a person would be thinking/feeling after having to go through something like that... after having witnessed the person you love being killed. The guilt and regrets would weigh you down horribly.

The explanation of why he hit her was really sad. It's almost impossible to be angry at him for lashing out at her... she went against what she was told, by not only him and Zack, and he snapped. Of course it's not excuse... but in a way, since we now know what his mutterings meant... you can't help but kind of understand it.

Ooh, interesting bring Valary back in... though I can't say I'm happy to see her. Even if she's done a 180 with her attitude, still pretty sure I don't like her. haha.

“Jimmy, I don’t think that’s a good idea,” Valary said to him, “We won’t have enough room. James might-"

Well, seems she hasn't changed at all. Doesn't even care to ask about her sister? She's really an awful person.

I hope they at least get some help. And it's nice to see Jimmy was re-introduced to the story :)

And you should consider publishing it. I'm sure it'd be quite sucessful :)

Heartbreaking moment... I don't blame her finding difficulty in saying that :(

I really feel for poor Michelle. She has had to deal with a lot in her life.. just like Megan, maybe even more. And to think she's lost the one she loves and that takes care of her, it's really sad.

Were Michelle, Johnny and herself finally free to walk about the earth without the label of ‘slave’ on their backs?

It's hard to even really think of them having been slaves with the boys, anyways. I think it's coz they treated them like equals, except for the Master thing. I mean, it's like they were simply housewives and such. It's easier to think of them as slaves with Jacoby and his men, since they showed them no respect and simply used their bodies.

Blood was caked above and below his lips; his left eye was swollen to the point of closer and was the darkest shade of purple she had ever seen; several cuts remained unattended to on his face and body and she could see, even in the very little light, that there were bruises on different parts of his thin figure.

That brought tears to my eyes... poor Johnny... I don't even want to imagine his face looking like that :(

I sincerely hope they get away... and that she did in fact kill Jacoby. Though it'd be a miracle if he survived a knife to the neck. I'm looking forward to the next part to see what they're gonna do now and find out what happens next :)
