  • I really loved it! It was amazing!!!
The way you make the reader imagine how Frank took it, leaving that mystery, just makes it awesome. You're are a really good writer!!!

  • I wasn't quite sure if Gerard was a hermaphrotite or a transvestite, but it works either way. I thought this was sad. I love the abrupt ending because it leaves room for the imagination to kick in. I would have liked you to investigate deeper into why de didn't want to keep the baby. I know that the whole "men don't have babies" thing was mentioned, but you could have mixed the relationships between the fetus and the love he has for Frank. Saying like he feels remorseful for aborting this small piece of him, or something along those lines. Awesome story and I absolutely love the title XD

  • Wonderful, beautiful, I can't quite believe I adore this piece of writing.
Gah, intense emotions are such an understatement.
No time to actually garble out why it is so good, the honesty? the vividness? the absoloute sweetness of an 18 year old father to be Frank? Or an sweet, fragile, pregnant Gerard?

Erika, I do love your writing.
Do you think you could give me a list of any frerard of yours I haven't commented?
I've had no good internet for so long, but the wireless should be set up by next week.
I'd love to spend some time reading some of your work In Love

  • I like the fact that you actually kept Frank's reaction from us, mostly because I feel like the story is meant to be about Gerard and how he feels about everything going on, and also explains the feelings of a person in an abortion clinic. I have a friend who recently had an abortion and she sort of felt the same. Granted, she isn't a man, but nontheless.

As for the mystery of Frank's reaction and the years to come, I'm sort of glad you kept that away from us so that we can imagine what happens and I can get the happy ending I want. :cute:

    Anyway, fantastic as usual.

  • Wait, so...
    I'm confused.
    Please excuse my naive-ness. >_>
So, Gerard's really a woman who got a change to become a man, but was pregnant before the change occured? What?
I like the way it's written, but I'm kind of an idiot so if you could clear up some things that'd be great... >_>

What's the surprise on me liking this? (:
Yeah, it was quite simple, but I wouldn't consider it heart-breaking; that's what would have come next, as soon as Frank reacts to Gerard's announcement. But you preferred to keep that away from us, because the main character is Gerard; how he deals with his own body, with what he wants to do with it some time in a future we don't know how he exactly feels about, and with what will be of his relationship with Frank after the abortion. I believe there was a lot of thoughts running in his mind as soon as he found out he was pregnant, because after all Frank wasn't supposed to find the pregnancy test; but he did, and he fell in love with the idea of having a kid with Gerard, but Gerard didn't want it because he feels a man and men don't get pregnant; they just don't. I still think, though, that he took a lot of time to make up his mind, because I'm sure he loves Frank truly and wouldn't want to hurt him by having an abortion, but he just had to because that's what goes in the deepest of his heart.

I hope Frank can understand that and forgive Gerard for having kept that decision a secret. Oh, yeah, Gerard didn't know if Frank would agree or make him keep the baby, hence the reason why he did everything in silence. Plus, the embarrassement, perhaps? I dunno, we don't get any vision from the past or the future, so I stuck with saying that I hope they'll be okay together... if they can stay together.
