    :)

She must have been about eighteen, in her last year of school, and I already hated her.
    ^Uhm okay...slightly weirded out now o.O

Your parents spend their whole lives telling you not to talk to strangers, but as soon as you’re old enough and they can’t pick you up themselves, they’re telling you to jump into cars with strangers.
^Hehe. So true. My mum won't let me do even this though; she's big on the safety thing. The fact that I'm eighteen doesn't count for crap apparently, in her life.

Don’t think I’m a bad person. I’m not really; I’m actually a nice guy. I work hard, I put food on the table, and I have a lovely wife and two beautiful children. I pay my taxes and I’m kind to my neighbour and all of that, but every person has a guilty pleasure, don’t they?
^Oh, of course not. You're just a murderer, is all. -_-

Their mind is elsewhere, and I wondered what I would be like to be so blissfully away that, second by second, your life was running out.
^That's it, I'm never gazing out the window when on my rides ever again.

Everyone needs to have something in their lives they can be proud of, don’t they?
    ^Stupid, stupid f*ck.

This is probably the first serial murderer story I've read that made the murderer into an actual person.

    Great job!

So, it would appear that I didn't comment this the first time I read it. Who knows what I was doing that day. . .

Anyway, I do love this story, even if it does seem unfair to me that a serial killer story come to such a quick ending.

But I love how he's not actually all screwed up. He has this family and whatnot, and everyone thinks he's so normal, and just like most killers, he's justifying what he's doing. And, when you think about it, the only reason people would think him cruel and heartless is because of what society tells us. It's an interesting thought. . .

    Again, great.
