Now, onto commenting on your story.

I love the first paragraph, it made me laugh. I liked how Pagan didn't immediately fall in love with Jesse, or that as soon as they started talking she realised that he was soooooo amaaazing and whatnot. Nice and natural, they just met like normal people do. xD

The only thing that I picked up on was that I thought the dialogue sounded slightly unnatural, I thought it was a bit stilted.

The way that pagan got her name made me giggle. And I laughed out loud when she ran away as soon as the music stopped Sounds like something I would do. The last line was nice too, a good ending to the first chapter. So well done, I shall be reading the rest of this soon. :)

My friends went to a Brand New concert up in Portland last night!
Apparently it was "Fucking amazing!" <--- direct quote.
Which was to be expected.
Wish I could've gone but I had a test today so I couldn't miss classes. =(
But I did spend the night listening to Brand New. Hahaha
