If there was ever a perfect epilogue it would the one for this story. It was soulful and heartfelt. It was worth all the hardship-reading. Hehehe. It really was a wonderful read. I hope to see more from you soon.
okay so. I found Crowded like...a week ago. I spent every waking hour I had finishing it, only to see it had a sequel so of course I had to read that too. And I was all addicted and shit trying to catch up, because...THIS STORY IS FUCKIN AWESOME. I couldnt stop reading and it made me laugh out loud and say awe to myself. I can not wait to see how you finish it.
Oh, and please pardon me for asking for more without *bowing down* for two incredibly well-done serial stories, amazing (my favorite word) characterizatoins, stunning dialogue, excellent plot twists, satisfying endings, etc. etc. And other great GD stories as well.
I am just a Zildjianrockerjunkie.
I will take one-shots, or anything other bit you care to write!
Okay Liz, I am going to have to go ahead and own up to the fact that I kind of borrowed that line. Well, I did write it, but I actually paraphrased it from something similar that Russell Brand said about Katy Perry - LOL! It just sort of jumped out of an interview at me and I was like, 'omg, that is a perfect explanation of what love is.'
Still, I'm glad you loved it! And I really don't know what I'm going to do when it's over myself... anybody for hot oneshots? :) xxxx
p.s.... let's call it a word, I'll let you have it ;)
Tre said, "I’d change everything about myself before I changed one thing about you.” Aaand I went all melty and wanted to cuddle both Tre and Billie...and you because you wrote it, haha.
And then there was the Jamie/Macy/Lara fight. Bahahaha, I loved it. Lara is indeed "scrappy" :)
And then chapter 72 was absolutely wonderful. I loved that Billie couldn't use the computer and that Jay was scared to death of holding the baby and that Joey and Ramona make a bitchin' team. *sigh* Ellie May, what the hell are we going to do when this story is over? Your characters are brilliant and I'm going to go ahead and ask for a threequel.
chapter 72 was amazing. I loved it. Billie Joe being technologically retarded just makes me laugh. I'm kinda sad this going to end, I love the updates when they come out! Oh well... looking forward to the epilogue. :) xxxx
Billie Joe's lack of tweeting skills are laughablely adorable! And I'm so glad to see two of my favourite people back, Joey and Ramona really are some awesome kids to have. That's right Jamie, you blame the catfight on your hormones......we all know she was desperate for revenge! Can't believe there's only the epilogue to go now, I've been following this and Crowded for over a year now!
Okay, horrible errors in that comment. My bad. Um, I forgot to say that I was laughing really hard once twitter was brought up again. Plus, the comment about Jason being like the kid. Haha.
Perfect second-to-last chapter. It had that feel to it before I even knew that was what it was. Yay me for picking that up! Haha. This brigh!ened up my dad.
Oh, woe is I!! Elle, please, if you are ending this gem, please consider another GD fic... we can't be left out in the cold without our darling guys! We've been spoiled for far too long!
Btw, Stormflash, I'm really glad that Tre announcing he was gay warmed your heart. It actually was really important to that chapter- part of his problem is he wasn't ever comfortable with that - and I'm really happy you picked up on it.
And OMG Tracey, is it really 290 pages? How did you figure that out? And have your eyes gone fuzzy? Haha. Thank you. x
Ha, well, we can't have you all relaxing too much, I had to throw one last bit of drama in there, although i realise it did come a little out of left field.
I'm happy that you guys are happy! I'm enjoying Billie and Tre back together again too. Le Lion, re: your "shameless" (lol!) request for sex - fraid I've already wrapped this up so I'm not taking any requests. While we're on that though, I realise that sex has been minimal in this story, compared to Crowded I mean, and Iknow that will have disappointed some people. There are a couple of reasons - one, because there really are only so many ways you can write a sex scene, meaning it gets boring to write and starts to add very little. Two, because unlike in Crowded the sex wasn't really integral to the plot - people are in relationships, they have sex within their relationships... writing it all out seems both unecessary and gratuitous - kind of like it takes away from the actual story itself. Also, I wanted to see if I could sustain a whole plot around these characters without grabbing people's interest from the sex scenes. In a lot of cases it seems I have, in some others I haven't (reader count for this story is half what it is for Crowded) but that's okay. I hope that makes sense. i know you all have PLENTY of imagination when it comes to BJ and Tre! ;-)
Right with Stormflash again on this one, I thought all the drama had finished too, and was confused as to where the revenge in the title was coming from, as Macy was specifically *not* invited. Oh Boy, did this chapter pick up the pace, that girl certainly got her come uppance, but she was even slinging out more slurs and insults, even when she was beat. At least the fiancee has seen that side of her, before it was too late. Phew.
p.s. I have just re-read the entire Tangled in Lights story - over 290 pages, what an epic, emotional saga, and it still isn't finished ...
"Billie Joe let out a giggle at the absurdity of it all" - I can imagine this so clearly, it set me off laughing even more! I was slightly alarmed when I read the title chapter cause I thought all the drama had finished, but as soon as I realised Macy was involved I was all for it! I know it's not really important to this chapter, but I loved the bit where Tre announced he was gay with a sense of pride, it shows that he truly means it when he says this time is going to be different and he's not ashamed anymore. It warmed my heart a little bit XD
