You know what? I just understood what holds all these kids together--their names are all that "something". Like, people see their last names or who their parents are and just expect something. And our characters can't give it to them. Because the basic struggle is just "I'm not my mom and I'm not my dad."

I feel so cool and analytical.

Wow...this is amazing, and extremely well written.

    Yeah, I'm addicted already :D

I agree with Bess. The differences between the characters is gonna be what makes this probably one of the best stories on here!

You can definetely count me as a suscriber.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. I loved both chapters. Both were very different which is obvious as they were written by two different people, but I loved the difference in the characters. It's cool because it's kinda how I can imagine them being. I basically agree with all the comments above and I won't try to write a complex review because A) I suck at them, and B) I'll just be repeating what everyone else has said XD

I love it and I can't wait to find out more about Aiden and Dan, and also to find out about all the other characters too.

I'll go with the comments above. It's even better than I expected. You two did an awesome job - both intro were amazing. I seriously hope I get to live up to them when my turn comes. x]]

I love how Aiden described his domestic situation, and the line Prince Charming up there put in bold... That got me all Oo this is amazing.

Dan's bouncy thing and his Dad's looks. I had, well. Charlie had a convo with Cassie last night about the hottness that is Frank Iero. x] But the pressure was obvious.

    Just... Great job girls.

    I finally found it!
I've been searching for this story ever since you guys posted those journals & whatever else that was posted about it. Okay now I'm blabbing on; time for the review.

I really like that chapter to my suprise. Although the "depressed" teenager idea is overused, I think you guys used it suprisingly well. It didn't sound or feel cliche in any manner. Actually the selection of words made it more enticing.

I also liked the manner in how you described Aiden's mother. The way Aiden's feeling about his father were expressed was simple; which made it even better. I think that if anyone else were to describe that they would fail. It was simple, powerful, and extremely great over all.

    I absolutely love it.
    Consider me suscribed.

    Omg.

    That was amazing.

Way to produce great material under pressure - simply the pressure of what you guys are doing. Ever since hearing about the story I've been following what's happening. Adding the myspaces. Stalking the thread for clues of when it'd be happening. And now ... -faints with excitment-

Ok first I want to compliment Dru on the summary, it's short and sweet, informative but with a lot of character. Sharply written. The way the idea of "the next generation" would sound.
The next generation ... This story could be another revolution, you realise?
Rockstar children. Fanfiction - the Next Generation.
It's a brilliant idea for a story, and who [I mean, really] better to carry it out then a group of the best authors on Mibba.
    This'll be legendary. Phenomenal.

Onto the first chapter. Aiden. Not what I'd expected - the other characters seemed so derogatory of Aiden, it downplayed his character. But he's so complexly [probably not a word] messed up. More can come through in an introduction than other parts I spose, so maybe he'll appear to lose depth with character/character interaction - putting up a wall - but the intro was really eye-opening.
Concrit? Practically nothing, except the line "But you will come to realise" - I found it a bit jarring; talking to a "you" earlier was alright, it was using a kind of apostrophe, a rhetorical "you". But saying the "you" had cognitive functions o_O
    -shrug- Just threw me off.
But I loved it, other characters didn't creep in [excepting mum&dad]; they're left completely to establish themselves, which is important.

    Favourite lines:
I told her I was a Way - she asked what that meant to me.
That's such a gorgeous answer - "A Way". Says a bit about his upbringing and family feelings as a kid [in contrast to his feelings as a teenager, later expressed]
I white out emotions. Numb out my mind. I am lazy, I am fucked, fucked up, masochist.
Delivered like punches to a wall.
    But I don’t know who I am?
    replaced with something not human
I think I woke up earlier
the old fashioned way. I was born with a fear of metal hangers.

    Best. Line. Ever.
the fucking god amongst depressive teenagers
    And finally, the last lines,
And I wear the scars everyday of admitting what I am. But I still don’t know…who I am.
Mint. Pure mint. It was an amazing end to an amazing beginning.

Subscribed, and I cannot wait for more.

    edit: ...Nice first comment >.>
next edit: O.O shit will everyone read this? ohsnap.

I've been waiting for this story since the thread about it was up. :shifty
Anyway. I'm too just amazed by this first part to even leave a review. Except to say I lovelovelovelove Loved it. Even if it was just an introduction.
Trust me. I'll leave a proper review soon enough and if I don't any of you guys can hit me with a shoe. >_>
    Also I'm subscribing.

Finally. I've been following this story since the group of authors have planned it and I waited a while for it. When I found this on the list, I was (there's no words to explain). I've read the first chapter and it something I had expected out of this. I will defiantly be subscribing to this. One day, I hope to work with a group of amazing authors.
