Awe, John and Chelsea are so adorable, I love it. And poor Chels getting ambushed when trying to get a drink :(

The words fell easily out of my mouth. I almost didn’t have to think about them as I responded. My main concern at the moment was getting Chelsea out of here and if it meant playing along with their little game for the time being, then so be it. It’s not like Chelsea and I couldn’t pull off being a couple if we wanted to. It would be easy to humor these reporters, but just as long as Chels was up for it as well. A couple of the reporters looked as if they were about to ask more questions, but I cut them off with a readymade response. “Look guys, we gotta go; team dinner. I promise I’ll talk to you later, just no more cornering my girl all right?”

Johnny is so adorable, seriously. I think if I keep reading I might fall for him, so just watch out, alright? ;]

“Danny Kristo: don’t trust him, he’s a ginger. Jack Campbell and Mike Lee are both goaltenders and they’re too flexible for any natural man to be trusted. Jerry D’Amigo is used to scoring so obviously he can’t be trusted. Jordan Schroeder could break a record in scoring this year so he definitely can’t be trusted because he’s used to scoring and he’s experienced. Jason Zucker is way too young for you-”
“John,” I cut him off before he could continue. “That’s more than five.” Although I couldn’t keep the smile off my face at some of John’s reasoning for why I couldn’t date his teammates.

Does John really have a large butt? lmao. So, sorry I haven't read/commented this 'til now. Fail on me as a friend, I know. But the first chapter was really good. I love the playful banter between John and Chelsea. They're adorable. Just little phrases like "human cock block" and "did you eat a rainbow along the way"? I love those.

This was a really good first chapter. Personally, I suck at them and usually leave things out and the like, but there was a lot of info and backstory in there so I didn't feel clueless at all. I loved John's epiphany and really just this whole thing. Also, hate the name Tiffany. The only critique/thing I can offer up to change is the dialogue part. Personally, it was really hard for me to read because it wasn't spaced out, it was just like one line after the next and I got lost and confused at who said what. But even that's just a minor thing and it's probably just me. Anyways, I'm sorry for not reading/commenting this sooner. I wish you would have told me to do so, I didn't realize it bothered you so much. :( Forgive me? <3
