Oh... my... goodness...
Jae, your writing never ceases to amaze me, really. Honestly & truly.
Sorry I didn't check this out before now... I wish I would have, to let you know sooner just how amazing this is, and how much of an amazing writer I think you are. :)
This was, by far, one of my favorite lines in the whole one-shot:
'He looked in her eyes, her face glowing with delight as he planted love stories all over her skin.'
I have never seen anyone use that wording before^, in particular, the planted love stories all over her skin-part. That really fascinated me how you came up with that. :)
This was utterly amazing, and wasn't a cliche or corny happy ending like you typically see with one-shots. It was more... bittersweet. And I loved it all the way through.
Whenever you find the time, Jae, you should write something again soon. Whether it be a story, or a one-shot... you should write something. Because I love reading anything you write. :)
Once again, amazing job with this. :) And again, the commenting is a bit delayed since you posted this FOREVER ago, but... I'm commenting now. So that should count for something, right?

Wow, This is remarkable. I was roaming around looking for something to read and realized I had never read this and I am SO glad I did. I really, really hope you find the inspiration to write again. I don't care how long it might take, I'd wait because this is absolutely beautiful. It seems as if every word is picked with such precision to make each and every sentence a beautiful work of art in it's own right. Honestly, I'm just speechless. I love your writing so much more than I realized.

Their warmth dancing in the air, their hearts reuniting at the pounding in their chests.

I loved that line so much.

You know how much I loved your story hopefully so I can't wait to see more from you and now that I have it put a smile on my face.
It was very meaningful and the lyrics made it all the more better.
It sounds like some piece of life that actually happens in the lives of the nameless. Even after all that he put her through, she still couldn't deny any part of her affection for him.

Yeah, so this is absolutely so perfect!

I love the fact that she knows that her realtionship with Joe is far from perfect, and that even though she loves him a lot, she desires to leave him more, because she knows it's best for them. It breaks my heart that he cheats, and she knows it- and he knows that she knows it- yet he obviously does. I love that Joe is willing to try and change more for her. The words in this are absolutely breathtaking, as is the way this ends!

It keeps you guessing as to if she really makes him leave after the love-making, or if it's just a go-around thing for them once more; where she wants him to leave, he grabs her heart again, and then it's a spiral downward. The ending is very powerful, as is this whole thing. But you already know how I feel about it.

It's really good, I mean I know you haven't wrote in a looong time but I like it. The format and how the song goes, it pulls at your heart strings making you want more. I really like it!
