Was this based on the Breaking Benjamin song Dear Agony by any chance? Dunno, I just thought it related to it x] Anyhoo, I can really relate to Conor. I suffer from depression as well and everything about it - in this letter - seems so bleak. You can really tell that this thing is hurting him. This was extremely well-written as well. I enjoyed read it (:
Lovely job, once again! <3
I love the whole basis of the story ā writing a letter to an emotion that seemed to take control of your life. Seems like a good way to cope with that very emotion ā to get over it. You have a very good use of similes and metaphors in this ā good comparisons. Referring to this emotion as a real thing, as an actual being that is able to manipulate, is a brilliant concept. The way this is all put together is quite amazing. You can tell that this boy writing the letter really suffered from Agony itself and coping through the letter really helps him get his feelings out in a healthy way. Overall, Iām amazed. A lot of people can seriously relate to this.
