loved this, was freaking great honestly I really enjoyed it, everything but the ending, I think it was a little off but I havent figured out how it was off yet.

I love the descriptions you used here and how very little words are spoken I love the fact that you went more for the creepyness of Freddy then his funny wise cracks you brought out a side of him I'd love to see more I hope you do more of these one day

The layout was nice and I could get the video to play but I could sing the song in my head, and I love how the layout is of the remake but from the way your wrote and worded this I cant tell if your Freddy was more old school or Re make, you'd make Wes Craven proud dear.

    This was brilliant.

Freddy is my all time favorite horror-villain and to read something about him? I'm utterly giddy. This was amazing. You really have a way of taking a fabulous idea and writing it well, you don't make it complicated or have it all over the place. It was a short, sweet and to the point yet the same time I felt like I was reading something that carried on in a longer story (does that make sense?).

Unfortunately, because I am a scaredy cat, I did not take your advice on listening to the song while reading. It's 11 PM and I do have to sleep tonight. But I really did enjoy the story. It was chilling, and scary in every way possible. I could almost feel her fear as I read along. I like Freddy as a character as well, although, I must say, I'm more of a Jason girl myself and I think you wrote him very well. I also liked the ending where there is a little glimmer of hope but the last line just cuts it off. That was good, I liked how you did that, as that's the basis of a horror movie anyway. But this was a nice little horror story. Excellent job, you should really write more of this genre. c:

Mmmm....That is all i say to this. Is it sad that I find the evil of this little one-shot that appealing? Probably, but considering how you write it, I think not. It is simply brilliant! So creepy and yet insightful and then the end is a cliffhanger with resolution which can be hard to write and yet you managed it. I love it!

I really, really enjoyed this. That's saying something because I'm slightly terrified of Freddy. To this day I've never been able to fully watch the movies. I actually have never seen a Freddy story on here, until now. I guess with a story like this it isn't hard to freak people out, because you did it with me. Good job :)

Freddy Krueger has always scared me because I've always had nightmares that I can't seem to wake up from. I hated him as a child -- living with three older sisters, I watched his movies at a very young age. I read this and thought Run b*tch! Run! of course, when you are in a Freddy nightmare, he can get you no matter where you go. I haven't seen his movies in years so I've never been able to see the humor in him, I just saw the horror. He was creepy by just looking at him and the way you described him gave me the chills. It took me by surprise, I mean, no one writes about horror here, I mean, they might but I haven't found it. I didn't really expect my fear of Freddy to rise up again, but this girl's fear was like an infectious disease and I caught it -- if that even makes sense. To get to the point, this was super awesome (:

Eep, that was amazing. I'm loving your morbid stuff so far. I've never seen the Freddy Kreuger movies; the only time I saw him was in South Park in the episode where Mr. Mackey takes Stan in because he's hoarding stuff, and they go into Mr. Mackey's subconscious and try and find the source of his hoarding. Pretty funny stuff. Anyway, this seriously scared me. My heartbeat was racing as I read it. There was only one mistake, right at the paragraph starting with the dilapidated colors or skin or something. My mind fails me. >< You switched it to past tense and then to present tense again, and it was distracting, but it's a minor error. ;)

The end line gave me chills, bro. Fer real.

Eep! I love horror stories, so I knew I would like this one – but I didn’t realize how much it would actually freak me out D: I write a lot of horror myself, so horror stories don’t tend to frighten me as much as they do other people, but there’s something about Freddy that creeps everyone out.

I absolutely loved the bit where she swapped into the bedroom with the doll. I could see it all so clearly, and it really gave me the shivers. xD It’s so true to character that it could easily be a scene from the film itself. Great job, very scary =D

He creeps the s*it out of me.
But you definatley captured his creepiness in this, wonderful job.
I got shivers while reading it xD

Dayum girl! That gave me the heebie bajeebies! I think that in the description, you should add a wee not that states that 'before you read you must wear a diaper' because I shat my pants, man. And that music was so eerie and scary and OHMYGOD your story was epic! You should be proud of this little slice of heaven you bred here, he's amazing. :)

This was a very good short.
You capture so much within one chapter and it literally makes my jaw drop.
It had that effect on me where you feel like you're the main character in this.
I love Freddy and his character; also the way you described how creepy his appearance is.
Great job; I love this. ♥

    Review of Wake Up

Fog seeps under her feet, teasing her calves with hot scorching tongues.
I really like how you opened this up. This is a really visual sentence, and I can almost see the fog and legs. Smile

Her breath shakes; her throat aches. For a fleeting moment she snaps her lids shut and clenches her fist whispering; chanting. “Wake up, wake up, wake up…”.
I love how you put this together, but I think maybe if you punctuated the wake up[/url] parts more, it would make more of an impact. If you put a period between each of them, I mean. Just a suggestion; it’s nothing grammatical. Smile

“He’s not going to help you…not here.” His voice is like sandpaper. His throat torn to pieces by melted skin and human teeth.
This brought to mind 30 Days Of Night in a good way. ^_^

There’s not really much else I can say. It was a really solid piece of work, and I really enjoyed reading it. ^_^ It’s inspired me to go read more of your stuff. Smile

Holyshit, this is fucking brilliant. I'm a huge fan of horror films and absolutely adore Freddy (both the new one and old). This was written amazingly well, and I personally thought the end was really good and totally made the story. I'm really glad you put a link to the theme and recommended that people should listen to it whilst reading it because it totally added to the whole atmosphere and made it feel much more intense. I seriously really enjoyed reading this. :]

So I kind of have to say I adore this I really do.

I'm a huge Freddy fan, so I really liked seeing this, you're an amazing writer and are becoming one of my favorite's.

I have to say even though the picture was of Cris, I was kind of hoping this would have had an old school Freddy feel to it before I started reading it, but once I got started I much more liked that it was the new Freddy...

As much as I think there should be a bit more description where he cut her cheek, I am glade you didn't do that, I think if you would have added in some gore it would have taken away from the story, which was beautifully written

I wish I didn't read this. Not tonight at least.

Damn - an empty living room has never looked so scary.

The whole story was excellently written. It would have been nicer if there had been more description in the parts where she actually met him, the whole 'terrorizing scene'. It felt like a sort of... anticlimax, after the whole creepily terrifying beginning you had. The banner is just... *Shudder*.

Fuck, I was going to look for the DVD for Nightmare on Elm Street but after reading this, I'm not so sure anymore.
