I really liked this. It really hits home because I remember my great uncle telling me a story a lot like this one, not the same one of course, but pretty darn close.
It flowed, which is something I personally don't see in a lot of stories on here anymore. Every word flowed into the next one, every sentence to the one after it, and so on and so forth.
The thing I liked most was that it was easy to read, some things I read I'm forced to rearrange words, fix terriable mispellings, and even add sentences in order to make sense of everything. I didn't have to do that with this story which I was grateful for.
Excellent work all around, and look at that; you didn't even need an extension.
