I actually didn't realize that this was a dream until I read the last line, although it seems I should have due to the title. It was a very here-and-now story, which I liked. It's also a nice length for this type of story, I like how you didn't try to stretch it out longer or condense it. The writing itself actually gives off a very dream-like feeling, and I love how the narration sounds a lot like it's just the characters thoughts that run through their head, without being edited. And how despite this, it still sounded very natural and not choppy at all.
