This was interesting and cute and I was hoping it would be more then a one-shot to see what happens between the two. The only problem that I found is your grammar when using dialogue. Normally, you introduce the quote with a comma or period before saying it, and end it with a comma or period within the quotation marks. You only did that with a question mark or explanation point.
