I thought this was absolutely amazing. o_o I'm glad I went to find the last story on the list. x] And it really made me think, because, to a certain point, we all want to dominate, was want to be the stronger one. And yet at the same time we still want to be dominated for some reason; and I'm glad that you were brave/awesome (one or both of those things right?) enough to be honest and put something out there like this when many others don't have the guts. :]

I'm usually not a fan of definitions within a text, but I like how you used them in this. It didn't distract from the writing, but really enhanced it. I also liked how it was about sadism and masochism, two completely different and opposite things. I am also fond of the chapter title.

I really liked the way you went from sadism to masochism, it flowed very well; the whole thing flowed very well. It was a very honest writing, too, which I admire. My favorite thing about it, though, was that it was very open ended. It wasn't about overcoming something or facing something. It just was. Which, I think went well with the definitions. Well done, I really loved this.

To be honest I think we all to an extent think pain is funny. I myself laugh at pain as well, especially when it's my pain. I got really down think about that one day and wrote a poem about it called the angel of pain but i soon realized that we all laugh at pain. Pain in general is funny because it usually occurs when we are doing something stupid.

I like the way that you wrote a short story though and used specific definitions. Really a good job, even if the subject is something we dont like to think about too hard X)
