Okay, okay, that was just... beautiful.
I can't find another word to describe it. Tactful, almost. Fitting. Deceiving.
I've never heard the song before but if it's as gorgeous and flows as well as this does then I have every ambition to.
The last line completely summed it up. It was the closing off of the story, so sudden and radical, as it was to the reader, but done so well. It makes you view the whole relationship differently and the way they see each other. Ryan could just be an image to him, or he could be technically still 'living' but internally dead, his emotions drained by turmoil.
