The Inferno, as Dictated By Yours Truly. - Comments

  • There are a few things I really like about this piece:
    1) As you start reading each circle, you begin to feel like there might be a bias within each place and the types of people who are being labelled and described. But as it progresses and more ideas, people and things are introduced, you begin to realize that it's not biased - that there's a place for everyone in this hell - because someone would have done one of those things listed at some point in their lives. It's like there's no escaping what's there - everyone's subject to it all.

    2) I really loved how poetic a lot of this was. During some parts of the hells, you would write so beautifully, and then the punishment would be written is this lovely, rational kind of way. Like, the language of it just made it all seem like it was acceptable. But on the whole, there was just a poetic nature about the whole piece, and it was just lovely to read - regardless of the nature of the content.

In a way, it does feel personalized, but again, it just feels like it could be taken by any person and used exactly in that way. :) I really like it though. :) It was a lovely, enjoyable piece to read, and it's neat that you wrote it. :)
