Maybe one day she’ll stare up into that cloudy sky, smeared across all she can see, and feel its comforting arms wrap around her, transporting her into a world whereeverything is beautiful and nothing hurts.
I'm not sure if you were quoting MewithoutYou, but it doesn't really matter -- I just love that line.
I was in your author's notes! Yay! xD This of course was an amazing chapter! That's my thoughts when I remember to do my push-ups. lol Perfectly beautiful writing, m'dear!
This entire chapter was written so beautifully. The metaphors and the imagery had me completely transported to some distant world of fantasy.
She wonders if she’ll ever be inspiring, she wonders if her words will ever mean anything, she wonders if everything will ever be worth it. <-- Something I ask myself every day.
So it's official; Penguins can fly, humans can lay eggs, you're an amazing writer, Michael Jackson came out of hiding, this is my favorite chapter by far, Nessie came out of the closet-er water, and pigs can fly.
I adore your wording here, woman! Stop being so awesome! Maybe I should go to Canda and on a flying pig/penguin and rub your belly for some of your awesomeness. D}:<
I like Monica's burst of confidence :) It's a good balance to the darker chapters. And James talking to her was like to me, it was cute.
Just something I noticed as I read this update, but unlike most stories where it plays out like a movie in my head, for some reason when I read this story, I picture everything through Monica's eyes. It's very interesting, and I like it.
