Oh my God, I loved this. This is just...amazing. I loved reading this. The layout and the small font and the banner and the colors and the background image are all absolutely stunning and the small font was pleasing to the eyes without being hard to read. I’m so glad that I read this it was great. I loved your descriptions of the characters and the tension building up to what she’d done was amazing, I was smiling on the edge of my seat the whole time waiting to see what happened (since I didn’t read the quote in the summary until just now). Anyways, wow, I don’t even have the words to complement you.

Amazing. I almost felt like I was there, like a fly on the wall. I actually pitied the woman and nearly tore my hair out when I couldn't see the reaction of the priest at the very end.
The imagery was beautiful, and you made this work wonderfully.

    10/10, it was perfect.

You took my breath away. Whoa. This was marvelous! I mean, the words, the descriptions, the ending, the priest's reaction - good Lord, have mercy on my soul.
This comment sucks, but I honestly can't say much more than that.
This is the best piece of writing that I've ever read on this site <3

    OH MY GOD.

You took my fucking breath away.
    I.. Wow.

The dialouge, the detail... The suspense!
This writing is the best by far.

I couldn't agree more with everyone above me.

I could spend my whole life talking about how amazing this is, but I'll need another life to explain myself more.

Chan, you are a breath taking writer.
    This piece was marvelous.

    Chan... I'm, I'm completely speechless.

You're a talented writer, your capabilities just baffle me and make me doubt my writing.

The imagery is so unbelievably realistic; that tension in the air, I could grasp it, it was so tangible. The setting, the plot, the originality of it all; never before have I read an incest story delving with the actual aftermath of it, with the troubled mind of those who partake in it.

And that you made this woman so devoted to her religion, and how this taboo affected her religiously. It's so incredibly executed.

The dialogue flowed so nicely, smoothly. The tension, for fuck's sake, I can't get rid of that tension. And the characters' reactions, so realistic, exactly what it'd happen.

I just, I really have no words, Chan. This was so marvelously written.

^ I agree completely with that statement. I saw this on the 'Rate the Story' thread and I seriously just had to read it. What I read on the thread was surprising enough without the extra bombshell at the end Twitch It was so real and graceful in way, I just, oh my, I loved it so much. The descriptions were fantastic which aided to the imagery, it played out so well in my mind. You executed it so well, nice nice nice job.

    Hot damn, Chantal Marie.

So, there are the unrealistic cliche incest stories, the Mikey/Gee and Tom/Bill incest, and then there's this. This sort of incest belongs in it's own category; let's call it Historical Incest.

... Yeah, let's just call it that.

The elegance and delicacy of the entire thing, even though it dealt with what can be referred to a taboo subject, was beautiful. I know I tell you that a lot on MSN, that your writing had an elegance to it, but I really want to tell you again. It's like no other, really; if you do end up being a book illustrator, you better be an author as well or you'll have wasted a beautiful talent. You have an amazing way with words, and I'm so proud of you, 'cause I remember the old days when neither of us were quite original. Yeah, WCC2.

The impact of the separation and simplicity of the last line was like, holyshitdidIjustgetpunchedintheface. Between the reference a few paragraphs above to the frowned-upon homosexuality to the unexpectedness of her confession, this story just shoves in surprises in such a perfect way.

You really pulled this one off wonderfully, Chanbby. Just fantastic.
