It was well written though, and I did like it! And, once again, I am jealous of your writing skills!

This was so beautiful and poetic, which I thought was interesting considering she likes to talk about science a lot but "she spoke science like some spoke of poetry and literature" (awesome line, by the way).
I love how the narrator describes her - smelling like sunshine, speaking in stanzas, fingers like a pianist, etc. Everything was very descriptive and I was totally able to visualize the girl in my head.
I also like how the characters don't have names. It's as if you could be describing anybody at any time, which made it really interesting to read.

Oh my God, Katie. That was amazing, and the best part was that it didn't even feel planned, like you just spilled out your thoughts into this story and it worked out so well. There were too many favorite parts to name and your language was so fluent and delicate, my Lord, it was so wonderful. You did a great job.
