First of all, I think your idea is really interesting. Matt on the edge is a very interesting question - how does a lead singer who's kinda on top of it all deal when it all comes crashing down? So you've definitely got an interesting plot to start with.
However, I was a bit confused by the whole question of drug use within the fic. It's not really clear exactly what he's injecting, and while I'm not saying spell it out explicitly, it might help. Is he doing heroin? My issue with that is he seems pretty quick to go answer the door and he'd probably be more sluggish if he's had opiates take effect (I've been recommended www.talktofrank.com for drug info and I've used it as a resource myself)... Admittedly, you could also deal with this by having the door ring before he goes about actually injecting...
Also, Becca seems a little bit moving into Mary Sue territory... Maybe if you took some more time to flesh her out or extended this into a long multi-chapter fic to give her more of her own personality and voice? It's hard to establish a whole original character within a one-shot.
