Did I make it seem like Dawson were crushing on Ava? Because I was trying to get across that ALL wolves felt this weird protective bond with Ava... Hmmm... I should work on that.

I think that a lot of people think that Riley is crushin' on Ava and wants to have little Ava babies with her, but I honestly wasn't trying to portray that. I was just trying to portray that Riley is SUPER curious about her, and that he wants to use her as an asset. BUT everyone also feels that protective draw toward Ava, and she is supposed to be considered pretty by almost everyone... So Riley just wants to HAVE Ava, not necessarily for a mate.

I never told you when I was posting the sequel... you can attempt to GUESS when I'll post it? But there's still the epilogue, so hold your horses :D

Really? I didn't even fully decide if she were to be pregnant or not until i wrote this chapter... but I had been thinking about it, so maybe my subconscious made me write her all pregnant-like. lol.
Epilogue is excellent. I really recommend reading it, because this "last chapter" really doesn't "end" the story. I'd be excited for the epilogue too :)

I like Caroline, she's brisk, intelligent, intuitive, honest, and doesn't dither about with words.

I'm glad Ava is letting Riley know straight up that she is her own person before he attempts running her life over and taking complete control.

I hope Logan doesn't come to the conclusion that Ava would turn to the Council for help.
At first, I thought Riley would keep Logan's location a secret from Ava for a short time. I was surprised to find that he let Gregory let her know straight away. I was not expecting that from him at all. Mostly because Riley seems the shady type mixed with a little creepyness to keep things interesting.

I also wonder if Mark's resignation has anything to do with respect for Grey or ill will and plain dislike for Logan.

What I need from you is a way to keep everyone safe, because I'm coming with guards. If I don't kill Logan, someone will. And it will be bloody, and I can't account for the actions of anyone else.
This makes me eager for the next update. I have a feeling that it's gonna be a great read.

Damn. I hate when people post long/amazing comments on the days when I'm thinking about updating. It makes me feel obligated to update again. lol. But I'm holding my ground. I'm only on chapter 4 of the sequel and so it would be rude to leave you guys hanging for like 3 months after I finished GWM. *sigh*. And by sequel I mean OTOOM. I'm trying to get into the habit of calling it OTOOM instead of GWM2 since I called it GWM2 for so long trying to figure out it's title!

I've gotten used to the fact that you comment later in the week-ish time that I update. No worries :) You don't even HAVE to comment. But it is lovely when you do! :D

I feel like that's Ava. She gets mad for 2 seconds, then lets someone know her mind. Therefore she told Riley to back off and that it was her life.

I was actually thinking of Riley keeping Logan's location a secret from Ava, but after a lot of thinking, I figured that he WOULDN'T. because Ava promised to go back to him. So there was really nothing stopping him from telling her, especially since she was so willing to go with what Riley said, and because she'd be distracted the whole time thinking of how she would kill Logan.

Maybe Mark has a bit of both? Loved Grey and then hates who Logan has become?

I dunno... I feel like I'm not very good at battle scenes... But I also say that about sex scenes, and people think I'm crazy. But honestly, I'm better at sex scenes than battle scenes. I feel the need to not get the protagonist hurt, and I'm like "Well, that's not realistic" so I get really confused. I had a hard time with it. lol. Hopefully it's good though :D

Yeah. I completely agree! So much HAS happened and there can be so much that could happen. but I felt like the next chapter was the climax... and I can't go on and on in a story after the climax, you know? So it's one of those things that you have to do. Plus, there's OTOOM (see what I did there, I was going to say sequel, but used the abbreviation instead. woot woot!). So it's not really like it's over :D
