I know it's pretty hard to write about players from teams you don't like, but this was so good. I loved it!

Really brilliant. I knew you weren't a great fan of theirs, but I knew you could make it work!
It was enjoyable that the Devon wasn't typical of most characters I have read about. She was hard-headed, strong-willed, and brutally honest to her heart in consideration of the team she was working for.
The hate that was written in the story was quite blinding. It was strong, believeable, true, and honest to a point that it could've hurt. And the hate also set an imagery and feeling that the reader had to feel, even if they didn't agree with the emotion. The intro only built up the hate and it allowed you to dive right into the feeling.
Every place that the banner ('Hate Is A Strong Word') was placed was well inserted/incorporated and it worked very well with the story. At first it was this was some harsh thing that was stating a fact, and as the story progressed so did the meaning of the banner. It became softer as I read on.
Her brutal honesty was really idealistic. And it was only true to her personality that she was so honest. And it was really sweet of Carter to have that not derive him from what he had his heart set on.
Speaking of Carter, I liked how he was this colourful. Cheery, upbeat, and just as stubborn (in a different manner) as Devon. And in his attempts to get the truth and break the non-smiling exterior of Devon, he became this utter dork. I liked it!
One minor spelling error; it's goddamn.
The way you took the picture with the story was defintely a way I wanted someone to take it. I'm glad it was you. You took the "broken girl" and her hate and placed her with someone that would try to keep her from breaking any more.
Overall, I liked it, and it was great how you turned your hate for the Flyers into a great story. Even though I ain't a fan of them myself, I quite liked this story. Too bad this ain't true of the team.
