GAH! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S OVER! Such a great story! NOW YOU SHOULD DO THE STORY OF HIS APPRENTICE! XD Seriously, the whole idea of this is just so amazing. I love it.

Also, what happened with the whole missing finger thing? I was really curious to see how that turned out. I can just see him coming back from that mission, and trying to explain a missing finger to his mother, that's somehow not only gone, but also healed in one night.

hahahahaha Very nice. I love that last line, even if I did lose the game. I actually laughed out loud when I saw that. I'm guessing there's still a bit of a journey left to get home, so I can't wait to see where you go with this at the end.

So the chickens have no real point? They're just a challenge? >.< The insanity of NaNoWriMo.

Loved the chapter. I can't wait to see more.

Ah, sorry for the late comment. I didn't get a chance to read it until you'd had the next up as well. XD Anyway, I was a bit disappointed when they didn't sing while walking down the yellow brick road. I would've laughed so hard if they had gone through the whole welcome ceremony that was in the movie.

I also love how easy it was to get through the scarecrow, tin man, and lion. How they were just as broken as they are when Dorothy finds them.

Great chapters! Good to see Pansy finally back with the group.

The whole, "Only one person has ever done it," part made me think of Inception. XD I felt like it was going to be Leonardo Di Caprio that they called up.

I like that things are starting to move toward the final battle now. It seems a bit like it's been a very long time in coming, but at the same time, I feel like Bently hasn't gone through enough to be that far. >.< Apparently, I want him to suffer more.

AHHH! ALICE IN WONDERLAND IS NEXT! God, that sounds amazing. XD I can't wait to see what you do with that story. There's so many possibilities already. I really liked this whole showdown in a crater thing as well. Very creative (though it may seem more creative to me since I haven't read more than two of the Unfortunate Events books).

    Great chapter, my dear!

Short chapter, yes, but I think it set it up very well. It finished up the last battle, and gave a very good lead in to the next one. I think it would've only taken away from the suspense if you had tried to go any farther with this. So, this chapter is fantastic as a lead in, and I can't wait to see what you do with A Series of Unfortunate Events.

haha THE POWER OF LOGIC OVERPOWERS THE IDIOCY OF THE TWILIGHT PEOPLE!

Also, love the little snippet with Pansy. Been a while since we heard from her. Also, I like how neither is at all evil anymore.

Wow. Lots of updates. I have to say, I loved the Bella pulled people out of other musicals. It's so wonderfully illogical. Screwing up both the world of musical theatre and literature. Seems like something Meyer would do, doesn't it? XD

Also gave me a reminder of how illogical a lot of fanfiction is. I mean, I don't really think about it, because I don't tend to really read it or anything, but when you really stop and think about it, it's almost scary.

Anyway, your updates were very good. It amused me greatly, and I can't wait to see what comes out of this next!

I actually really like the chapters where Bently runs into more trouble. I liked how he thought he could finally get something done without anyone getting hurt, and then it all went to Hell. Very well done. Also love that Bella's replaced Christine with herself. The perfect book for Bella to be in. Implied sex at every turn. XD

Can't wait to see what happens next!

So, I found out the other day that the girl who plays Lyra in The Golden Compass movies is in Skins now. :/ Not sure how I feel about that, because they're such dramatically different roles. It kind of ruins the illusion for me. XD

Anyway, about your chapter. It was good. Very good. I could practically feel Bently pain when his finger got chopped off.

YAY! He's beginning to get better at his writing, and he's doing more on his own! I'm happy for him. I felt so bad for him always having to rely on King saving his butt. Great chapter!

I KNEW THE CHAPTER TITLE WAS FROM HP!! [/geek] Ron is hilariousss.
Bently is finally writing! Yayyy. That paragraph sounded quite professional. I think the type of stuff he's writing I'd have trouble with too. It's so... awkward. Like, writing what you want to happen?

Anyways, I liked this chapter. Harlima (I definitely wrote the wrong name) is so high and mighty and like, royal. tehe It's funny for some reason. And I have nohing else tonsay because I've been awake for 18 hoursssss woohoo.

XD The crack!fic elements of this are starting to show again, Jennie.

I think Bently is freaking hilarious. Like you write the villains really well, all smooth and villian-y and like, "oh I know I'll win so I'll just make little hero mad with some table talk." And villains are always so eloquent and like, suave you know? And then in response Bently's just like "IMMA CUT YOU."

I half thought you were going to bring in the White Witch as their companion for this. XD A sort of, "I don't want any other dictator ruling Narnia but me!"

I really liked this chapter though. It brought in a bit more trouble for them in a story that you would think would be more innocent than the last. :D

Yanno, Emmett was always my favorite. I feel like he should have been more last-ish. And he deffff should've been harder to fight. Save the easy one for Jasper, he's a pussy. I don't care if he was in the Spanish American war or whatever it was. File Or CARLISLE. He's a huuuge pussy. They're all pussies, I mean, cause they're "vegetarians." But like. I dunno. I don't like Jasper.
Rosalie should be super hard, she's a bitch.
The chapter didn't remind of Inception this time. Don't know whether that's a good or bad thing.
Bently kinda reminds me of though Harry. He's so passe about stuff. And then he's all YEAH BRING IT. I don't even know.
This comment doesn't make sense again. I leave weird comments on this story. I think cause it's so weird it makes me weird too. Buuut it doesn't need much encouraging so. Yeah. Update soon and stuff x).

Bahaha! It was an easy fight, but it was also incredibly entertaining, and he had his challenges with the other three. Not to mention, there's still more fights to come! :D

Great chapter! I can't wait to see what comes next!

Sorry about the lag; I got interrupted halfway through reading the last update.
But Lord of the Rings! I think I may have told you that I haven't actually read the books yet (though I've read The Hobbit and The Hobbit is amazing) so most of my knowledge of the fandom is derived from the films which isn't great, but yeah.

So maybe there's a bit of epic battling going on... but how much do I love that Bently has to write something to keep the Ring Wraiths at bay? Twitch Metafic is kind of my guilty pleasure and I love that there's so much meta in this story. Especially when Stephen's teaching Bently how to write. It's so cute, the way he's gradually building himself up, trying to form his own unique style, and Stephen's just encouraging him. It's really sweet.

I think I remember seeing something on the boards about Bently having a thing for Pansy... yeah, I can kind of see it. Their little moments where she's being kind of mean to him and the little moments where she's really, really not, are kind of adorable in that context, and I get the impression Pansy maybe has a little thing for Bently too. I feel like her calling him McQueen is important somehow, like she's making him into this fictional representation of himself inspired by who he was before so she doesn't have to deal with the fact that he isn't, and she is. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it feels significant somehow.

Pansy… wasn’t acting like Pansy. She wasn’t snapping, being rude (most the time) or nasty. She was acting totally unlike anything he had ever read her acting like, and certainly different from the last time they had encountered each other. Last time, she had tried to feed him to the giant toad that was what had become of Professor Slughorn.

Hah! She does have a thing for him! She no longer wants to feed him to a giant toad! Obviously, she has fallen madly in love with his person and it has transformed her into a vaguely nice person. Hand Clearly, they are meant to be together.
DO NOT SHATTER THIS ILLUSION. I DON'T THINK MY HEART COULD TAKE IT. Smiley
tehe Seriously, though, even if it's just platonic or whatever, I like that she is less of a bitch than in the books because yeah, that just seemed really two-dimensional and kinda unlike Rowling, but I guess she didn't have the time or inclination to develop Pansy.
I'm not really sure what I'm trying to say here but basically, I love that you're developing Pansy's character like this because I kind of love the bitchy characters who secretly aren't all that bitchy at all. tehe

Ah! Elrond! He kinda scares me, a little, what with his ~intenseness and super-awesome elf-ness. tehe I share Bently's sentiments, I'd quite like to kick Emmett's arse for messing with Aragorn and Gimli and Legolas because they're all awesome and he's a prat for fucking them up and turning them to his side. Grr

We must make them think they are winning, and then send them back into the abyss from whence they came.

That probably wasn't supposed to make me laugh, but it just seemed so perfect and just so something he'd actually say, I just burst into helpless giggles. tehe

I love that Eowyn is queen of Rohan, really I do. She's probably my second favourite LotR character and she's badass and wonderful and I know she'd be an amazing queen. In Love

“Of course,” Pansy snorted. “You’re supposed to be our great hero, or something, after all.”

    “Gee, thanks,” Bently spat back.

Aw, Bently, Pansy likes you really. She's just pulling pigtails, taking the piss out of you to show you she secretly thinks you're awesome. Uh huh. Right Jennie? Right? Right? Smiley

The Blank World seems a bit like purgatory, in a sense, but the whole recycling your essence thing makes it somewhat closer to reincarnation... it's a really interesting concept, though.
Interesting as it is, however, I fervently hope that none of them - especially Bently, poor little terrified boy - will have to experience it. I can just tell one of them will, though, and it's gonna break my little heart but I'm steeling myself for it now so hopefully I'll be able to deal with it when the time comes. Cry

Anyway, anyway anyway anyway, I feel this needs to be reiterated: I love this story and everything it chooses to be. The concept is amazing, seriously, so so amazing I'm actually green with raging, burning envy. Hail

    Okay, next chapter.

I don't know why, but it feels weird that you call Stephen King King in narration and then Stephen in dialogue. I can see why you're doing it, it makes sense because Bently doesn't know him like the others do, but it sort of throws me off a little.

Anyway, yeah. I haven't read Inkheart (sup-bar knowledge of great literature and all that Facepalm) but I can tell from Sheen's comment up there that that's where they are this chapter. The characters seem really awesome, though, so I'm very very tempted to read the books.

I love your literal take on the pen is mightier than the sword 'cause I always loved that quote, I think it's wonderful. And I love that they're going to defeat the Meyer with writing, not like an epic battle or anything, because it's just so perfect and original and kinda cracked out but wonderful and I think I need to reinforce how much I totally, absolutely love you right now. It's evident how much you've planned this and worked it out in your head and I admire you so much for being able to do that because I'm more of a make-it-up-as-you-go-along kinda writer and my plots tend to suffer for it, so you should know how awesome it makes you that you can do that.

He could use magic. He was going to defeat more pansy vampires. He was going to be a writing master. Stephen freaking King was going to teach him.

Bently is such an adorable little fanboy. tehe
I love that your characters all seem real, even though most of them (strictly speaking) aren't, and even though you're only getting a snapshot of most of them they're still believable and real and kind of awesome. I think Pansy is my favourite, though, just because I didn't like her at all in the books but in this she's just so real and human and a character in her own right, not just a two-dimensional supporting character like I felt she was when Rowling wrote her. But yeah. tehe
