  • The Mystical Creatures Judging
Thank you for joining The Mystical Creatures Contest, the judging is now in process your results will be posted soon.

    Layout
I adore the layout. The little robots are super cute. The coloring meshes nicely and your font is readable and pretty-looking…>.>

    Summary
The summary is interesting. I’m a big sci-fi nerd but I don’t think I’m one who would ever read a legit novel about androids. Nonetheless, your summary intrigues me and I’m curious as to how Ashley will react with the android she has to live with.

    Story Content

    Chapter One
So, even though I’m supposed to be judging this it’s too good not to praise. I’ve only made it through the first chapter but if this was a book I would purchase it. That’s how much I’m enjoying this. I’ll admit I was dreading reading this, only because of the length. For some reason I’ve never been one to read long stories on Mibba unless they’re chaptered and exceptionally well-written. I can honestly say that I was not disappointed while reading this. Ashley seems like a total bitch, but I really like her character. I like how self-righteous she is and how she’s like FUCK ROBOTS. I also, this is one thing that I am totally jealous of you for, love how you’ve come up with historical events to make the earth the way that it is now. You didn’t just be like ‘oh now this and this and this’ with no explanation. The Great Smog was a fantastic event you’ve come up with. Fantastic job. :]

    Chapter Two

I thought this next chapter was very sweet and sad. The bit with her brother does remind me of I, Robot like a previous user above me stated. The rogue robots going wrong or whatever. But I like that it turns good and I like that this wasn’t a romance but just a developing friendship you know? Very well written.

    Thanks for joining my contest

  • I really really really love this. The plot kinda reminds me of the movie: i, Robot. I was definitely hooked from the beginning; which is great because if something doesn't catch my attention right away, I grow bored and stop reading. I was instantly interested in what was going to happen next.

Normally I'm a little iffy on main characters who are "fuck you" about everything, but I do like Ashley. She seems to have her flaws and insecurities, and maybe she's not as "macho" as she makes herself out to be. I'm also interested in finding out what happened four and a half years ago.

Overall, I did really enjoy this and I'd like to read more; see how everything progresses. Forgive me if this is strange, I have no clue how to review properly.
