I liked this one. Unique, yet again; showing how far people will go to defend what they believe. The fact that you use Gerard himself again is interesting, because while last time, he didn't know that the fan knew who he was, this time, it's the other way round. It's a really effective way of highlighting the fact that he is completely human. Adds a wonderful effect to the story.
And her realisation of the power of the fans was a nice revelation on both sides. She didn't get the power of their words, and he didn't realise that they didn't know the effect they had on him and the band.
The ending made me smile. How, even though she'd seen him as a total human; an imperfect, smoking, (nice touch--showing a more physical aspect of what could be considered a 'flaw') human, she still saw him also as her hero, no matter what anyone else said.
