I've never really read a pirate story before, so I was a bit hesitant about whether or not I'd like it, but I do in fact quite like this story. I'm soo glad I've read it, and I just feel so tensed right now, everything is gonna blow up when Cam comes for Alessia. I was also a bit curious if Will is based on Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices? They just sound so alike and I'm glad I feel like I've met my favourite character all over again in an alternate universe. Can't wait til you update!

In my head Tanek looks kind of like Ragnar from Vikings, but less viking-ish and more pirate-ish. And maybe a little bit of Viktor Krum mixed in.
