Man... I'm so sorry you had to go through that :( I know exactly how it feels, because I am in quite the same predicament myself. And I don't think I'll ever go back to being entirely okay, no matter how many mutual friends of his and mine tell me that I need to just move on. I'm trying. But it is very hard to do when you love someone so deeply.
