I love this it is so amazing! I cried a bit at the end and this story made me really feel emotions. The prayer was so amazing and sweet. I absolutly loved this one-shot and it is the best i have ever read.

I love how you incorporated the song lyrics throughout the whole one-shot. That was just beautiful.
And I LOVE the emotion you put into this, Alex really seemed so sad and in love.
I also liked your take on the song because I didn't interpret Remembering Sunday the same way.

Charlie, this is my favourite thing of yours that you've ever written. Seriously, it was obviously so well thought out. I loved that we got to see their whole relationship unfold, right from the beginning. It made the character association so much easier, especially with Alex.
Alex as a character was completely loveable- the love sick fool that you want to win in the end. I could have cried when I read how much he actually lost, especially after thinking about how she'd moved away and everything.
The ending was perfect. The little prayer bit was so sweet, but so heartbreaking at the same time.
“Oh, and tell her to wait for me up there because as soon as my time here is finished, I’m coming to get her to show her how to love someone.”: that, to me, kind of summed up the whole story perfectly. Just that little line there was so brilliant and perfect and made my heart melt a little. It always made me feel a lot better about the story as a whole because he said "as soon as my time here is finished"- like it wasn't going to turn into a big ol' Romeo and Juliet style suicide scene because I can never handle those!
I loved reading this, Charlie. Once I'd started reading it, I couldn't stop. It was amazing. You should feel really proud of this! Thank you for entering, and good luck!
