    In Love

Seriously, that's how this entire story is. I love it SO MUCH. I WANT TO GO PLAY DOCTOR WHO NOW!!!! D: I think my children will be raised on it so they can be maybe as marginally as cool as Ben and Merryn and Rhys. They're so, so adorable.

I really loved the grandmother's take on things. (I'd type her name but I don't want to misspell it D:) It was really... well, reveiling and interesting. And sweet.

I think you did a wonderful job writing them as kids. You can definately see their main traits, but you can also see where they've matured and where they haven't. It was great to see.

LULZ Benny and Rhys have been having their bromance for a while then, eh? Naughty But really, they're so cute. They all are :D

Though we did meet Ben's parents, I wish we could have seen the twin's parents as well. But maybe that's for O'Rag? I dunno, but I'd like to meet their mum, she sounds cool.

Beautiful job as always, darling Leisha In Love Arms

  • D'awww! This is so sweet!

I love how Mirella cares about Rhys and Merryn like they're family, and that feeling is clearly reprecated. I also like the sudden change in Rhys' tone when first talking to Benny, then starts talking at a hundred miles an hour while dragging him out to the garden. It's very cute.

but anyway, we’re playing Doctor Who outside
tehe Totally sums up the twin's future nerdiness.

    “Hey Rhino,”
Liking the reference to Of Rhinos. (If Merryn's Rhino, does that mean that Rhys is Griffin?)

I like how you've woven subtle humour into this, like Mirella's insistance that she's not spying, and Merryn's screwdriver.

Benedict starts visiting his grandmother all the time after that.
Aww, and so the friendship starts.

(Benedict makes a very pretty girl, Rhys thinks, almost absent-mindedly, and the thought’s drifting away before he can grab at it and make sense of it.)

Haha, I like how you've subtly hinted at the beginings of Rhys' feelings for Benedict.

“No I can’t,” he murmurs, his jaw clenched tight. “Not like them.
This line is really hard-hitting, because after reading Of Rhinos, I know that there isn't anyone quite like Rhys and Merryn, and doesn't want to look for anyone else because they're his best friends. and he's theirs. It really shows how close they became in seven monthes.

Rhys' line at the end is really sweet, how he sees the prospect of Benedict nearly leaving just as bad as him actually leaving, and how the three all care a great deal about each other.

All in all, I really like this. It's really interesting to read about how the three of them met, and how they were a little nerdy even back then. It's good how, although the characters have changed as they grew older, they still have some of their traits as kids (such as Merryn's bossiness).

Why has this got no other comments?
