I liked this. As always, I like your writing style and your humour (and your way of getting it across), so this was really just wonderful in my opinion. Wonderfully original <3

One thing, though - the summary says, "Annie was eleven years, twelve months and twenty nine days old ". I think you want that to be eleven months. Or she'd be, yeah, twelve years and twenty nine days old... XP

I thought this was actually quite good, as a standalone. I got the wry humor there in a few places, it was a bit satirical and I like that. But as far as actually parodying, this wasn't really a parody. It was simply on the same topic as the story you chose was, and that doesn't make it a parody. And I think the story you chose would've been quite difficult to parody because of the spiritual things behind it; you wouldn't want to have been insensitive to that.

Don't get me wrong, this is very good in my opinion, but it's not exactly what this round's task was asking for.
