They are so cute together, and the fact that their fight diffused so quickly and they had a little makeout sesion in the middle of the hallway means they are much closer now and their relationship is stronger.June 14th, 2012 at 09:57am

This story has ABSOLUTELY been one of the best stories I've ever read!! The idea in this is really original and absording which is great. :) And you've written the characters' emotions very lively.
I hope everything works out well in the end for Liam and Troy. Can't wait for more.<3June 9th, 2012 at 09:01pm -

another wonderful chapter :D It seems that Tashani likes Liam more than her own brother lol... Just thought I'd mention my observation... and it also seems that I am very emotional because whenever the topic about Liam leaving for college and him and Troy never seeing each other again, I start to tear up... I love it when stories drag my emotions along with them, it just shows how brilliant the author is :DJune 7th, 2012 at 09:09pm

Wow... Just wow... It took a few hours, but I just read all 45 chapters... I just get really absorbed into good stories that I just can't stop reading... *blah blah blah* lol anyway, long story short, I loved it and I'm gonna try and wait as patiently as I can possibly manage for the next incredible chapter :DJune 7th, 2012 at 03:09am

I've just spent all my spare time the last two days reading through all 45 chapters, and when I haven't it's been on my mind constantly, haha. I love it! It's so original, and Troy is just amazing. It's been awesome to see Liam change into a better person as well. Excited for the rest!May 29th, 2012 at 09:11am
I thought I was prepared for the racial slurs (now I understand where the story's title comes from) but I just wasn't. After getting over the initial shock of the full hate Liam expressed (and apparently the rest of the white population), I found the characters to be too stereotypical. Black = dreads as white = blonde as Hispanic girl = weave. I'm not sure if this is on purpose to accentuate the cultural differences between them, but it bothered me a bit. At the summary you stated that racism wasn't all there was to the story and I agree. But racism is the main theme of the whole story, believe. Even if Liam and Troy do get together (which I'm assuming they will), they will still have to deal with the racist environment around them. And considering how close-minded everyone is about race, I wouldn't put it past them to be homophobic as well.
Well, there's one thing you did achieve with the first person narration and that was the crude honesty. You didn't try to sugar coat their thoughts and wrote it all down as it should be. Your characterization is good; even after only reading a few chapters I was already capable of knowing certain quirks of some characters. That really gives the characters a breath of life.
I think the theme of this story is very interesting. I've personally never read something alike to it at all. I'm actually quite impressed with the length of it (over 100,00 words. Whoa). One has to admire your effort and inspiration. Good job!
