    Oh, how I giggled when his son's name was Eduardo. You have a crush on Eduardo, and I just have a crush on Andrew Garfield. . . So pretty. Did you see The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus? He's good in that.

    Anywho. I digress before I even start.

    So, I really love the idea that this story addressed. I think, even if people are fortunate enough that they haven't had any of those moments where parents are convinced of old-fashioned, inaccurate ideas, they can definitely relate to it. The ideas of what it means to be a man or a woman follow us everywhere in society, and some people are tortured by it. It's a brilliant thing to address.

    I also love how the father saw the error of his ways. How his love for his son overcame his own problems in his past. I was so afraid that it was just going to be a story of history repeating itself, and how one abused person turns and abuses another.

    But it had a happy ending, and it was lovely and brilliant. And I loved it. :D
