Yours honestly just /happened/ to be the last one on the swap thread when I went to it, so I've decided to finish reading.

He didn’t have the heart to tell Brendon that he had started taking sugar in his coffee.
This line just about broke my heart. I know this story is really going to fuck with me.

The way you write is just so . . . you don't try to convince the reader of anything. You don't write this with happy words and an upbeat tone and a cheery vocabulary. I know that this story is going to hurt and I have no false hopes for it. And it's so refreshing that you don't even try to pull us in with false promises. It is what it is and we know that.

    Going to continue reading now.

but there was something, or something missing, rather,
I love the phrasing of this. Just... yeah.

I'm reading the part where Ryan puts his hand on Brendon at the sink and I'm blinking back some tears, just so you know. It's so damn . . . bleak. It's real. This is real shit that happens. You do shit and it makes more bad shit happen. This isn't candy-coated. This is real life. Strange that it's AU and I'm saying this, but it's true.

It's a bittersweet ending. It's sweet in itself. I was smiling as I read it. But then I remember that Ryan has a kid and a wife. And I don't know that they'd have an affair. I think they wouldn't. Yet there's a sense of closure there and I still have the shadows of a smile left.

This is beautiful. I can see why you're so proud of it. These characters are breathing and Brendon was really crying. Beautiful.

This was beautiful. I love the way your descriptions flowed and how you could feel the emotion throughout the piece. I adore the way both boys are portrayed and the way their emotions stand out in the descriptions. This was too sweet and I loved every word. <3

I thought this was very lovely. Your words...your descriptions were beautiful. I felt the warmth and emotion throughout this piece. Ryan and Brendon's relationship reminded me of Ennis and Jack in Brokeback Mountain in the aspect of the two lovers having a place only for them. I thought that was sweet and it really brought light to the characters relationship.

I'm going to have to come back and read this 'cause I thought it would be a quick read. But I want to tell you write now that the reason I can't [I'm up to Ryan on the plane] is because it already hurts so fucking much and i just know it's going to hurt even more and I'm not in a proper state to appreciate it right now. But, so far, it's amazing.

Two typos. There's an uncapitalized 'sarah' in the first paragraph [nice name choice, lol]. And you have "IN fact" instead of "In fact".
