OK. So I currently have only read up to chapter two... -shields eyes from previous comments- but as soon as I started reading it I was hooked because of the simple fact that it seems very Moulin Rouge-esque. I'm in love with Moulin Rouge lmao

This was good. You took a very Moulin Rouge type situation & spun it around it a bit. I will admit the story did follow a bit of a cliche path, but cliche is never bad when written well. I expected Pete to lose it. He's usually pinned as such. I didn't find much wrong with this story grammar and build wise. The pacing was on off. The start seemed slow, but then it really picked up and sort of slowed again. But once again, this was good.

As soon as I realized that the story titles were based on Hurricaine I put that song on repeat and read on. [That song is probably now stuck in my head forever, thanks.

Anywhoo, I really really love this! I live that it's got a Mulan Rouge feel [That movie confused te hell out of me but it was still good.] And despite that fact you made it completely unique. I also love how Pete is always the bad guy. It's quite lovely. I pretty much wanted to stab you when Ryan got shot. He was so fucking close! What's with you and unhappy endings?!?!??! But it was realistic to the story so that's okay, I guess.

I started crying when Brendan told Ryan all about their 'life' together. What a nice way to die. Well, as nice as nice can be when you've been shot....

Another thing I love is how Ryan always seems to be the one to dress in drag. It's rather amusing. Overall this is really really good. Half of me wishes it were longer so that the boys would have had more time together but the other half wishes it were shorter so I weren't so attached!

You see what you do to me?
