This was beautiful. In only seventy-two words, you managed to capture more meaning than entire novels. The starkness and lack of description made it that much more beautiful; you just told the story like it was and it was just... amazing.

This was probably the worst comment ever, but what can I really say? This was wonderful. (:

I think this broke my heart. It's just... it's so simple and so straightforward and there's a matter-of-factness to the way it's written that makes it that little bit cold and detached but you still feel it, every syllable of the last line: you are gone. This is powerful, this is, to induce that kind of reaction in less than a hundred words. It's beautiful in it's simplicity and it isn't perfect but it kind of is, in the way heartbreak is, if that makes any sense.

Basically, this was beautiful and I loved it, and that doesn't often happen with things this short.
