Apples To Apples. - Comments

  • Regarding the layout, I liked the overall apple background; I thought that it was really cute. However, I found it hard to read over the background of the text area. I thought that this was quite funny but it did seem to be missing something. Some added detail might have been it; why does this boy want six apples in the first place? Is this a common occurrence? I think what I'm going for was that it would have been nice to have a bit more character development. The teacher's sheer ignorance made me laugh, however, and I can tell that you tried really hard with this. (: I also saw that it was for a contest so I wish you luck! :)

  • I love the layout, first off! :)

Oh my gosh, this story was so witty. xD I love the teacher, "Do you think apples grow on trees?" I could so imagine an old lady teacher saying that. xD This story was just so funny. I loved it! :D

  • There were some grammatical errors, after an exclamationmark or questionmark you don't capitalize the following word if it's a piece of dialogue.

    "I hate you!" he screamed,
    would be correct.

I don't... I don't know. I just didn't get any distinct feeling of anything really. And the background actually breaks the rules as it makes the layout unreadable - I clicked default layout.

It's not bad, it just doesn't feel like... like there's enough of anything to really even hold my attention for such a short drabble.

  • Lol yes, apples do grow on trees :P This was short and sweet, as well as well written. I'm curious as to why the student has an obsession with apples now :P I hope somebody donated some lol. This was really good!

  • I love the mystery in this, I wanted to read on to find out why he had so many apples, why he was only allowed two and why he asked his friends for free apples.
I loved the pun of 'apples don't grow on trees' it made me laugh a lot.
This piece is simplistic but it's left me with a feeling in my stomach I can't begin to understand. Great piece, well written! Weldone (:

  • Ahahah!!!<3

This was just too cute, it made me laugh ahah! "What, do you think apples grow on trees or something?!"

Umm... yeah, they do o.O' lol

Anyway, this was well written and probably one of the funnier drabbles I've read. I would think getting humor in so little words would be difficult, so this was very well done. (:Love it<3

  • This made me giggle.<3

Not only was it amazing written, but I adored the bit of humor that was the main point thrown in there. For some reason, it reminded me of the age old rethorical question, "What, do you think money grows on trees?" But this was literal, aha which surprised me Why, yes, apples do grow on trees, silly teacher woman. :)

    This was amazing. (: <3
    I loved it.
