I'm on chapter five and I'm hooked! I hate Jayson (don't we all) and am swooning over Deryk- as expected. I can't wait to keep reading!

OMG! Chris Conner. Love him! He was between here and Detroit all season and I completely fell in love with him. He's just the sweetest thing and the lack of teeth makes it even better. LOL

Boy would I have loved to be a fly on the wall when they were visiting Engo's mom. I can just imagine the two women together with some bottles of wine, gossiping about Engo and his mom sharing these embarrassing stories about him growing up and gushing about how proud she is of him. And then it revolving into a talk about their sex life and tales of her job as a sex therapist. I seriously can picture that all when I think about them visiting. Something tells me he was the third wheel a lot lol

Oh yes...he would look rather delicious in a Boy Scout uniform.

I enjoy their tender and loving moments most of all. Where they slow things down and enjoy the quiet and peaceful aftermath. The little chats they have and the way they tease one another. I especially liked when she asked him 'do your eyes light up when you talk about me?' I could picture this slow, adorable grin on his face as he said yes. And when he said he loved her more than hockey...*sigh*...I melted.

Going away party for Max and Chloe *sniff sniff*. My babies are leaving...

"Do you know anyone that sneaks off to have sex more than those two?" ROFL That just seems so Max and Chloe, doesn't it? I mean, she has a kid and their lives are so busy. I imagine that they just take it when they can get it, know what I mean? That if they have to resort to sneaking out in the middle of a party of a get together, they aren't above it. Horny people have to do what horny people have to do. And they're both young and sexy and should fornicate as much as possible. That's my opinion.

Max...you dog. LOL Coming out of the john, tucking in your short. His retort of 'why are you two late...?' made me laugh like hell. Especially when they fist pumped.

Loved how they sat there together just thinking about how things had changed so drastically in such a short period of time. So much as happened to all of them that they needed to just sit back and catch their collective breath. And I like how Deryk has mixed emotions about what Max did (signing with Philly) but assures him that he's doing what's best for Chloe and Fiona. And it's good to see Max a little worried and spooked. His life has changed in a big way (a father and a common law husband now!) and now he's going to play for a new team and live in what was an enemy city. Very scary.

Chloe's drunk. Why else would she agree to sex in the bathroom and be so lovey dovey with Amelia? I love Chloe. She's perfect. She's esp perfect for Max. The girl talk was incredible. I love how much she loves Max. So much so that she puts her fears and her anxieties to the side to make sure that he isn't upset. She knows he's already worried and having self doubts and she wants to make sure she doesn't feed into that. It's lovely. Shows how much she adores and respects him.

"Hide the salami." I want to play that with Max too! When is my turn?

"This isn't the end. This is just the beginning." Okay, I won't lie. That made me sniffle.

Loved the intensity of the sex followed up by the affectionate and loving moment. The talk about how much she's going to miss them and Deryk's wise words about how 'they're not leaving you, they're leaving to start a new life for themselves'. At least they're not too far away and they can get together pretty frequently, right? Glad she's decided she wants to be a lawyer FOR HERSELF. That's a healthy transition in her life. To want it for herself.

The talk about how she'd follow him anywhere he was traded was a nice addition. He doesn't want to talk about (it's a scary proposition) and she's gently yet adamantly pressing the issue.

He caved. I knew he would.

This was an incredible story from start to finish. I will miss it. In my little fantasy world, Max and Chloe (and Fiona, of course) are living somewhere awesome in Philly, possibly talking about getting married and having a couple of babies.

This was such a good story.

I'm really sad to see this story go. To be honest, I didn't really know anything about Deryk. But with this story, you made me open my eyes and want to learn about a player on a team that honestly I can't stand. You made me fall in love with Engo. :) Thank you for that. I love learning about new players on different teams. But I can't really bring myself to just voluntarily look into the Penguins and learn about the players I don't already know about.

I tried ignoring this story for a while, in the very beginning. I kept seeing it around, over and over. I finally gave in when I was bored, and none of the other stories I was suscribed to were being updated. I'm so glad that I did give it a chance. Once I started reading it, it quickly became one of my favorites. One of the stories that I couldn't wait until the next chapter. I should have known that this story was going to be amazing, because you are the writter of it. And, you're amazingly talented, and I love all of your stories. :)

With that said. I'm sad to see this go, but it's better to end on a good note, than to drag it out. I really can't wait to see what you have in store for all your other stories, and all the new and future stories you write.

So long Engo. I'm really going to miss reading about yours and Ameila's escapades!

Pretty sad to see this end/ I may or may not have tears in my eyes as I attempt to finish an essay re-write...

I normally say something like great or awesome, but this is one of those times where it just isn't enough. Your stories have gotten me through some of the toughest times in my brief existence and it is truly impossible for me to tell you how much better it makes me feel to see an update.

I can not wait for the next one and I honestly believe you should just stop whatever it is you do for money and write all day long, everyday. Cause your writing has immense power in a lot of people's lives. Especially mine. :)

Like Amelia, I also thought he had some kind of sexual adventure planned for them. Second I read 'blindfold' I thought we were definitely in for something kinky thanks to the way your beautifully dirty little mind works ;). And then the more I read about how nervous he seemed and how there was absolutely no touching throughout the entire ride and how he asked her to just 'trust him', I realized that he had some really huge planned for her. Some awesome surprise that didn't involve getting naked. Or at least didn't involve getting naked until later on ;)

Ten months...ten months they've been together. That's just so wonderful. All the problems they'd gone through and they'd made it out on top at the end. So much in love with one another and so committed.

So that's his little secret...his big surprise. He's found an incredible place to live and wants to share it with her. But he's worried that she's going to be against the idea when he brings it up. Silly man! It's been ten months! You've been through hell and back together. I'm pretty sure that she trusts you and loves you and more than likely wants to be with you in the same way you want to be with her.

The place sounds absolutely incredible. Took my breath away just reading the description. How could anyone possibly say no to a place like that?

I loved how you threw in that little snippet about the realtor being gorgeous and Engo not even batting an eyelash. It really showed that he only has eyes for Amelia. It was just really sweet touch.

God, when he launched into his little (big) spiel about how much he wanted her there with him and all the little things that he envisioned her doing (nice little touch with the whole Dancing with the Stars under an ugly quilt and in flannel jammies) and them doing together. It shows how invested he is in this and how badly he wants it.

Chloe's leaving...she has to sell her house...moving to Philly with Max...*sniffle sniffle*

LOL Love how Amelia just said 'okay' when she was finally able to get a word in edgewise!

Very nice touch showing her independence in her insisting that she help pay and that he didn't try to talk her out of it.

Love how the smut started out so playful (the chasing around the house and the teasing comments) and then turned completely hot and dirty. So perfect.

So glad to see that he stood right beside her during that Jayson fiasco. And that she threatened the whole firm with a lawsuit if he ever came near her again. Not surprised that they got rid of him. Or that he sexually harassed someone. Douche bag.

Such a shame that her mother turned her away like that. She'd done the right thing by going there and apologizing for not listening to them about Jayson and she brought this amazing, adoring man (that loves her more than life itself) with her and her mother still turned her away. Thank God she has Deryk for support. Her mother is her past and he is her future. And it's a very bright and promising future!

Love, love, LOVE that he told the folks off. My kind of man right there.

Definitely looking forward to the epilogue. Not happy to see the story go, but all good things must come to an end, sadly.
