Gonna respond to your last comment:
Oh, that's true. Haha. Yeah, thanks for understanding. I'll try my best to keep up with the updates. :)
As for the new chapters, great job with them! Both a bit sad though, as expected with what has hit in the story. :( It's a little weird with what's going on. They're broken up, kind of, but she's still living in the house? lol. Idk. That aspect is definitely different than other stories I've seen. XD Usually it's the person that doesn't own the place that leaves, lol.
So this is interesting to see how that will play out. And hmmm... wonder who she texted at the end of that last update? :O James? He finally knows, though, on another note. lol. That's good because that probably would've just made things more confusing if that was kept up.
But anyway... feel like I'm rambling now, lol, but great job with the update! Can't wait for more!
On a completely off note, I'm seeing Boys Like Girls tonight in Philly for their 10-year anniversary tour thing. :OOOOO I'm sooooo excited. :DD Just thought I'd share because they used to tour with ATL... I think? Or like you know they were a thing with early ATL and it just kind of relates. XD :D

Don't worry, I'm updating more frequently than I would normally because I'm dying to get it out now that it's finished haha! And I think we both understand how university and work get in the way, I mean it delayed this story by three years.
The James thing has been set up in my head since I started writing this story initially, so the plot line for it is a little lame, I just hope it comes off as better written than I would have done it years ago.

    Ohhh noooo. :(
I'm interested in seeing where this goes, but, I'm sad that it had to come to this again. But maybe they just need the break, it happens.
Sorry for the delayed comment, BTW. Wasn't expecting that quick of an update, lol, but yeah, as I get closer to starting my last semester of college, my comments may get a bit spacey, sorry about that ahead of that. I'm also working on an internship at the moment, leading up to the new semester, so...
But great job with the updates! I don't get why they just won't tell James. I understand the concern, but if he's a real friend, he won't make a big deal about it, and I think it'll be kind of obvious if anything changes, and it seems like he's using them. If that happens, they'll just have to let him go as a friend. Kind of sucky, but what can ya do?
Can't wait to read more, though. They've been through so much, aww.
And I can understand you wanting to try something new, it has been a long time you've worked on the story. :) And I admire you still so much for coming back to it, and you've already gotten the rest of it written? Kudos! :)

Great job with the update! :D
In response to your comment, oh, okay, I'll keep that in mind. :) Don't think I spotted anything this time. :)
Hmm... I wonder if James will be okay with their secret? And this whole thing with Jasey and Alex... it still has me a bit confused, but I guess we'll get to know what's going on as the story continues.
Something I would like to see more about is how Jasey is studying to become a doctor. I feel like it hasn't been mentioned that much, but that must be putting her on some kind of schedule, so I'd like to see how she's dealing with that. And also, maybe what Alex thinks about it. Idk, just a thought, since it's mentioned as a key thing on the summary page.
But yeah, can't wait to read more! :) And hopefully I'm not the only one reading. :( Hope you get more feedback.

Thanks for that! I'll update it now. Carry on commenting with errors, that's the only way I'll learn to fix them haha!
And don't apologise. The first couple of chapters don't show where I'm taking it, so I didn't take it too critically.
Hopefully you'll enjoy what's to come as much as you enjoyed the rest of the series! :)

It took me a minute to realize what story was updated. I read a ton, and I hardly ever get new story notifications, mainly because the stories I read have either been finished or haven't been updated for the longest time... XD
So I'm happy to see that you updated this! Wow! This is awesome. This is like, one of the few times I've seen a story updated after so long. This is maybe, only the third time I've seen it happen. :O And again, I read quite a lot, as you will see on my profile, lol.
I'm happy to see that you're getting back into this. :) I'm not sure what you have in store for it, but I'm excited to read more now. In response to your comment, I can admire you for going for a more realistic approach. :) And I understand about the delay. Life happens.
I will be here to read. :) It makes me so happy that my comment inspired you, it doesn't happen often that authors pick up with their stories again.
    <3
And sorry if my first comment seemed a bit critical. Now that I see you have a plan for it, I'm excited to read more. :) I think that last comment may have also just been on one of my critical commenting days. lol.
Oh, and I'm not sure if you worry about grammatical things, but just something I saw:
I think he know it was my inept way of an apology,
I think 'know' should be 'knew' here.
But yeah, sometimes I go through chapters and point things out, especially if I start reading on an update to update basis. Let me know if you want me to do this or not; some authors like to make corrections but I know others don't care or don't like bothering with them. lol.

I'm not sure why it's not linked, I just stumbled back into it as I've no copies on my new computer! I'll see if I can link it up now.
I think I wanted to continue to show how they function in real life. I heard Dirty Work, and I just felt Holly and Alex all the way through it. Trying to make it work. It's actually still in progress, but I've been working on other things throughout my degree (a lot of original coursework pieces, generally).
It's got a direction, I promise. And I hate that this has sat uncompleted for so long, so I'm going to carry on, for my sake if no one else's.
Thank you for your kind words, I really needed a reminder that I was passionate about something and other people enjoyed it too. <3

I almost missed this, due to the fact that for some reason it's not connected to the prequel... hmm...
But I wanted to leave a comment to let you know I've read and enjoyed all installments so far. I kind of just stumbled across the first one and couldn't stop reading. I think you're a great writer. :)
Usually when the female leads are over-confident, particularly longer than a chapter or two, it kind of annoys me and I stop reading, but with this story, I couldn't, mainly because the female lead was matching up to the male lead, Alex. Like she was just as bad as he was and had something to learn. I also really enjoyed Holly's character. :)
With the second installment, I thought it was fine just ending it with that one, but I see you started this one. Sad to see it was never completed, although with where the last one left off, I feel like there probably just wasn't the drama to stir in this one leaving off from that. Like you kind of just added more drama in with this one when you didn't have to. I can admire you for wanting to continue the series (Holly and Alex are just so cute together), but I can also see why it was probably never continued, because I probably would have struggled with writing another one myself.
My suggestion is, if you ever do choose to continue this, maybe wrap it up in a chapter or two, although that would probably be rushing it. I don't even think this installment is really necessary, but I don't think it's meant to be too drawn out after reading everything. Maybe just a lesson for bumps in the relationship happening. Or maybe you could just rework this entirely, have it maybe a one-shot sort of third installment and just show Alex and Holly a little farther down the line. Idk.
But I don't want to discourage the posting of this entirely. Once again, I think you're a great writer, just the plot line of this didn't work out for a reason. So maybe just try to rework it if you find the inspiration or finish it up with a chapter or something. I think these characters deserve more of a conclusion. I would even understand if you took this down.
But yeah, great job overall with the series, I really have enjoyed it. :)
