The layout is lovely and simple, and everything goes together really well. I love the banner -- it's so soft and it goes well with the story. Your summary gives away just enough to keep the reader intrigued, but it also leaves a lot to the imagination. It does the perfect job of hooking the reader in more.

I have this weird obsession with culture from the Eastern Bloc, so I was really excited to see that this starts off in the Ukraine! What interested me even more, though, was the way that you went through the adoption process. You hd the technical parts down in terms of how the adoption goes through (very realistic -- you clearly put a lot of research into the process, whereas most people would have the adoption going through almost straightaway) and then you've got Senoma's emotions that shine through throughout. You continue that as well when it comes to the chapters after the adoption -- we're always left very much knowing what she's thinking at any point in time. It gives us a way of connecting with her character, and it adds more to the story when we, as readers, can connect in that way with the main character.

What I love most about this story is how simple everything is, but how much of it reflects how real life goes. The plot itself is simple -- girl grows up in a typical household where she's subject to the trials and tribulations of life -- but it's so personal that almost every single person can relate or think of times in their life where they've gone through the same things. One thing that resonated pretty heavily with me was the chapters where the sexual harassment starts at school -- that's definitely something that I think everybody has either experienced, or they know somebody that has experienced that and it's awful. The way that you write the emotions surrounding that is wonderful, as the reader really gets under Senoma's skin and understands exactly how heartbroken and victimised she must be feeling at that point in time.

I like this story. Senoma's character is very strong and, coupled with Brian, she seems to only be getting stronger and stronger. You include information about her in each chapter to keep it fresh, and it's done in such a flawless way that it doesn't feel as if we're just reading a biography. It's the perfect example of a coming-of-age style story. Keep up the good work!

This story is absolutely the best. I love it so much, and I can't wait for the next update!
