I am glad her parents stood with their deal :) OMG Lacey is having the baby :D poor Johnny is scared out of his wits. But I am sure he will be a great father and Lacey a great mother :) and they both have family and friends that wont let them fuck up :)

I'm glad her parents held up their end of the deal. I was afraid they'd get to that point and change their minds, no matter what she did. So that was cool of them. I do like her mom. Finally all caught up, but I want to smack Brian! I hope I'm wrong, but I've a sneaking suspicion that Mitch may be Michelle. And I know I shouldn't be mad at him since he's acting like every 20-year old guy, but his stupidity is getting to me. At least he's letting Senoma go to school and not trying to convince her to stay home with him all the time.

The Lacey/Johnny pregnancy is something I didn't see coming, although it all happened a bit too quickly. Good to see Johnny stepping up to the plate and not just freaking out. Being pregnant and in high school has to be awful.

I don't have a problem with her language. Not once did I mention her language. My problem is the repetition of the color of Brian's eyes! It's repeated way more than it needs to be. I like the story but that is annoying. Why does it need to be repeated to death?? We already know he has lighter than chocolate milk eyes. We already know they are skinny, tiny, petite and so on??? Why must it be repeated to death?? And i don't think I was being rude, just stating facts!!

So I'm only up to ch 22, but thought I'd comment now. I'm loving this so far! I kinda hate Matt(B), though. I don't care how much you disagree with something a family member is doing, at that age, you stick up for them, not lead a vicious crusade against them. His sudden change of emotions doesn't make sense. Maybe I need to read on further, but I'm wondering if something more happened between he and Senoma for him to flip so quickly.

And Brian. I'm not sure where to begin with him, but I will say that for all the talk he does about respecting women, he sure doesn't seem to do it all that often. Pressuring your girlfriend to do things you know she isn't comfortable isn't cool, nor is it showing her respect. If he truly respected her, he'd be ok not always getting his way. But if it's just an alcohol thing, then Senoma needs to learn how Brian gets when he drinks and not let him get away with shit just because he's drunk.

Why are you being so rude? If you don't like the way Stefany is writing her story, don't read it. And if this is your way of giving constructive criticism, there are better ways to go about it. Why not give an example of what you think would make it better? Personally, I don't have a problem with the way things are being written -they fit with how I imagine Senoma really is. I've been around a lot of people who came to the US, and they all had a more formal way of speaking regardless of how long they'd been here, and I think the descriptiveness of Senoma's speech/way of thinking, just shows how different she still is despite having been here for 12-ish years.
