This was pretty good. I liked the way that you wrote it in second person. The only problem that I'm having with it is the fact that you didn't so much focus on painting me the memory. You kind of wrote this as a letter to the boy that gave it to you explaining why you did what you did. I would have liked to more so read it in dialogue, exactly what happened when he gave it to you and the way that you felt when you hid from him. Other than that, it was honestly very well written.
