Oh my!! Glad they are finally talking. Jon finally wised up. Is Kane really Casper's father. Jon and Charlie better have a happy ending especially after all the crap they have been through. Awesome story, great update. I can't wait to read what happens next.

Sneaking suspicion something bad happened to Jessica and the baby...the way Jon was thinking about the empty rooms and being all alone...and how Charlie mentioned his mom calling her to tell her what had happened.

I was totally in love with the Jon/Charlie thing, so I'm secretly hoping it's just something going wrong with Jessica and the baby is okay. The child doesn't deserve anything. The secrecy surrounding the baby (naming, not letting Jon see him at first), the urgent need to get married, the missing paternity test...it all adds up to something sketchy

However, I'm kinda disgusted with Jon's behavior towards Charlie...she said no and he continued. Just because she got into it after it started, he really should have respected that boundary. If they're to go anywhere, he has some serious making up to do. And if they don't and Kaner has an issue with it, she should (especially as a lawyer) press the rape card. I wouldn't want to see that happen, but it's a feasible way for this to go

Gabrielle is Jessica's friend who came to "help" Jessica at the end of the pregnancy - the one who went with Jon to the ball game and then put the moves on him afterwards.

But I agree, why would she be listed as emergency contact.

And I cant believe that he actually went through with it - and it is so obvious that this was all a ploy. From her indifference about the baby to the name and finally to her calling Jon "Ron"!

What the??? Why did he marry that wench and allow her b*tchy mother to blackmail him again? It's so obvious that they are just after his money. And who is this Gabrielle Rogan anyway? Why does this person have permission to see the baby? Maybe they are a part of a scam trying to make Jon think the baby is his. Jon should have called Charlie the minute they backed out of the deal. He and Charlie are being so meek with each other and then Kane (great friend that he is!) swoops in and picks up the pieces. Kane is like a scavenger and the reason why Jon hasn't come clean with Charlie!

I cant believe that Captain Serious, the man who has never backed down from fighting for what he wants, when he found out that Jessica was pregnant, didnt think that he could have Charlie AND the baby. And I cant believe that Charlie never considered it as well. IF Jon is the father, he has rights. But that doesnt obligate him to Jessica.

Marrying Jessica will not make a happy family. I think she knows that Jon is a nice guy and will now be her meal ticket. But I think the paternity test was a fake.

I know it is a little late now - as Jon believes that Charlie does not love him anymore - that he doesnt deserve her and that she has moved on, but nothing could be farther from the truth. She does not love Kaner. Her heart still belongs to Jon, or she would not have kissed him.

This story just keeps getting better and better. Great writing, very intersting.

Thank God the baby came and disrupted the wedding.

But none of this is sitting right. Jessica and Janice definitely wanted Jon signed, sealed and delivered before the baby was born - and all this without a pre-nup. And maybe without a legit paternity test. Curiouser and curiouser!!

But of course Jon would turn to Charlie - he trusts her with his life! No matter what has happened between them, they both still love each other. Bringing Tom into the mix made for an interesting dynamic - I loved when he said that he knew the answer to Jon's question, but did Jon know the answer to his. Charlie is there because she still loves Jon - she never stopped!!

But Jon did lie - when he said he loved Jessica. And Charlie did sense that it was too rehearsed - Jon has been saying it for months, trying to convince those around him. But it still does not ring true. And having to admit he cheated on Jessica - well, he physically cheated on her once with Monica, but he emotionally cheated on her every day because his heart was never hers. It always belonged to Charlie. The kiss in the elevator proved that.

But the baby....Jessica is evil for using the baby as a blackmail tool. I am hoping that Tom and Charlie make Jon see that any type of legal entanglement - ie marriage - would be a disaster waiting to happen. It would only end up in divorce. That they recommend that he pursue legal avenues to get his rights as a father recognized. They should just demand another paternity test and all be said and done with.

Or maybe he is not the father - that is why Jessica and Janice do not want Jon to see the baby. Maybe she had a fling with Byfuglien!

And as I mentioned before, I dont think it is Kaner living with Charlie. I think that may be the final secret Charlie was going to tell everyone.

I missed the paternity test too. I hope someone stops the wedding. Another great update.
