Fading, Like the Stars - Comments

  • Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
I was not expecting that. To tell the truth, I'm not sure what it was that I was expecting, but I know that what I read wasn’t it. This story is fucking intense and creepy, real fucking creepy with how the Authority has supreme control. And the fact that people just went about their life like nothing was going on, when the lady was being thrown in the van is just fucking terrifying.

  • How intriguing your story is! I usually don't read fiction like this; futuristic oppression is not my favourite. However, this appears to be different. You have much talent. Your characters are so interesting. What drew me in was that Fading Like The Stars is just a little different from other books of its kind. Aimée already knew from the beginning that she was different and she is so clear in her lack of desire to save the world from the oppression. That is what sets it apart and makes me so interested by it. I'm a little less than impressed by the cliffhangerish ending, you'll have to update soon so I can find out who these people really are!

What's going to happen to Aimée?!

  • I can honestly say that I did some rendition of that dance when I saw that you posted the first chapter!
I’d been checking your stories page like mad and when I saw that it’d been posted, I just had to do a dance.
But enough about my odd celebration dance and onto this magnificent story!
This premise is brilliant, but more than brilliant it’s believable.
That sounds like such a strange thing to say, but it’s not.
I sincerely believe that if the global banking system isn’t sorted out properly, we could head towards this sort of society, because although some people would rather struggle and have their freedom, the majority of people would rather be comfortable and give their freedom away.
Ugh! I'm rambling, but this is brilliant.
One chapter in and I'm already hooked!

  • Another new story?
Oh this is amazing! Absolutely amazing!
I love the layout, it’s stunning!
And the summary . . . oh that summary!
I have so many questions that need answering and I'm not sure if I’ll be able to wait until the new year, but I’ll do my best!
