This was really sweet, and so sad. It was very well written, and flowed perfectly, and I don't remember seeing any spelling or grammar mistakes (brownie points there!). The characters were all really well-developed, and I really felt for Damian, and wanted him to get better. I also really liked Evie - she was so sweet, and made me laugh a couple of times. The bit at the end with the gun scared me, but when it turned out to be water, that was a good twist, as I wasn't expecting that. I would have liked to find out a bit more about whether Damian and Emory got back together again, or whether something else happened, though, as I thought the ending was rather abrupt and left some unanswered questions. Overall, it's a really good piece!
