I am only on the third chapter so far and before I have to set your story aside and sleep I would like to say that your writing skills are beautiful. Your chapters are within the range of not too short and not too long (basically they are a good length). I love the grand descriptions about the, as you said, masion, palace, thing. The symbolism is a lovely addition and I adore that you slipped in some Romanian words which seem to be the name of one of your main attractions to the story. Another thing I love so far is that you are vague on the entire story (meaning merely that you are not immidiantly revealing the background story of everyone and everything in a quick, almost rushed mannor. You seem to be taking your time with I and saving it for a time where it can come up later to be fully exposed and maybe to use it in a specific mannor somewhere else down the road. I'm not sayin that you will though. O.O). I appreciate the work that you have put forth and the effort and time you put into it. Thank you for posting it and letting people read it, because your writing is something that is, at least I think that it is, enjoyable. I know it can be very nerve wracking sometimes, exposing your writing like this, but don't fret because your writing, your story, has been good so far. =] It'll be fun to see what you have up your sleeve and planned out for the marcats and the marcators. Keep up the good work!
