‘I think sex is generally a good call in most fucked-up situations... wars. Deaths. Rehab. Sudden... acquisition of children.’ ~ First off, I love that line. It's kind of quirky and weird, but has that little ring of truth to it.
I like the characters and the dialogue between them seems pretty good, and the way they interact. The flow seems a bit stilted in some places, but it seems pretty good.
Brandon demands, breathless, and Cody opens his mouth to respond but Brandon doesn’t let him; the words just pour out, faster and faster as he stands there with his arms folded. ~ I really liked this line as well, I love run on sentences, especially when it captures the emotion that the character is feeling.
