Aww... That was sweet... And incredibly depressing. I liked it, though. :) Some food for thought however: The story felt like it moved really, really fast so there wasn't much time for characterization. By the end of the story, the characters were all still strangers. That comes with shorter stories, of course, because there isn't much time for 'getting to know you" stuff. But your writing style is clear and concise and your vocab is shipshape. It was a good story, though, and I wasn't expecting Mason's secret to be what it was. O_O But, uh... Yup! I hope to see more of your work on Mibba! :D
