Damn. I knew they'd risk the run, but I was hoping that they would at least make it somewhere like one of the safe houses. I didn't expect Zane to get shot either, although that was a bit of a cliff hanger. I don't know if he for sure was shot or not. And he was so sweet, loving, and protective of Emily even when he's under so much stress and is trying to save her, I love that about him. I love that about this! He's willing to risk his life for her.
I think they'll risk the run. I think they'll do it. It's the only chance they have, take it. It might not be the best choice for Emily in the condition she is in but she has to. She has to get better. I hope she gets better! I feel like I'm the only one reading this and commenting on it, but hey I love it!
I like how Axel is being nicer and (hopefully) more protective of Emily. I feel bad for the girl that Riley killed. But I like how Axel lied to Riley about the bath thing and how Axel even let them do that. I hope Emily heals up fast so she and Zane can get the hell out of there. I think it's sweet how Emily wants to help Axel with his condition.
I can't believe they lost the baby.. I can only imagine how they both feel. And as much as I hate that Zane ran back to Riley, I'm glad he did because Emily would probably be dead if it weren't for him.
I love the ending of that chapter! It was so nice and beautiful and...WOW! I'm glad that they finally ran, hopefully they don't get caught or anything too bad. I also think that Zane didn't kill Axel because Emily asked him not to earlier.
I miss this. It seems like forever since you've updated. I really like it. Hopefully Axel doesn't hurt her. She does have a kid now to worry about inside her.
Hi, this is for comment swap. I am responding to your journal so I would appreciate if you could pick any story out of my list for this.
Anywho, I must say, it took me a while to figure out this is the third book you are writing. It was just so interesting that I honestly couldn't stop reading. When I found out in your author's note that there is more than one book, I sort of twinkled with passion.
I am going back and subbing to the first book and reading from there. Aside that, this is great. You have many grammar mistakes and a quick proofread will hopefully fix that. Good luck.
Well, I feel stupid for actually thinking they were being arrested for something at the beginning. *sigh*
Anyway, I thought this book is off to a good start. It sucks that Zane and Emily can never catch a break. I can't wait to see where you take this story. :)
Wow. That wasn't what I was expecting. I thought they were actual cops that had news on Zane's step-father. I didn't think it'd be him. But nonetheless, I still love this and I believe that that was an amazing way to start the third.
