Punk's Not Dead - Comments

I have never read a Sex Pistols fan fiction before in my life, and to be honest I’ve never really been much of a listener. My cousins used to be real obsessed with that band and they were constantly listening to them and such. I would sometimes tag along and from what I’ve heard they’re pretty good.

This certainly isn’t your average fan fiction that you would happen to stumble across, and I like that.

The layout is pretty good. I think it looks really nice and everything, and I really didn’t have any troubles whatsoever when it came to reading it without getting a headache, unlike some of those stories with those really annoying and painful layouts that make your eyes bleed.

It was a little bit hard to understand for me though, seeing as I know nothing about Sid or the Sex Pistols and such. But I like the emotion and detail that you’ve put into this. Despite the fact I felt rather clueless whilst reading it, I did like the way you write. You’re a very talented writer. But perhaps the chapters could be just a tad longer? c:

Aaah the Sex Pistols. Sid was always my favourite, even if he couldn't play the bass to save his life. This is pretty well written. I like how you made Sid's character very... hmm... conflicted with himself. the real Sid and Nancy story was just as dysfunctional as you played it out to be. Keep up the good work! I hope Maxi is okay!

I like this story, especially since it's not really your typical fan-fic. The layout is also really great but the only thing that I would suggest is lowering the text a little. It gets a little hard to read when the words are over the picture. I love the detail and the emotion that you have in this. It's really well written.

This was definitely not a story I would generally read in my own. But thanks to comment swap I'm here. This has a good story line. I like it. I'm not totally up to date with the real story of Sid and Nancy, other than it was totally dysfunctional.

It's nice that you show it trying hard to get clean and get his life back on track. Nice job. Post more soon. :)

This story is interesting... definitely interesting.
It leaves me with questions about what's going to happen.
I wish the chapters were a little longer, and I wish they held a little more detail.
Sid really reminds me of a child... His mannerisms and everything just seem very childish.
He just seems like he can't really do anything for himself.
I think this last chapter was very sweet though. :)

I honestly have no clue who Sid Vicious is but I really liked the story. Your writing is good and I'd love it so see the chapters longer. But I will be recommending and I will subscribe to this story because I really did enjoy reading it. <3

I've never read a story like this before! i really just do't know anything about Sid Vicious. But I liek your decription of things. The only thing I'd say you needa work on is transitioning from one thought to another if that makes sense? i know you have short chapters but sometimes less is more :D Oh oh oh and I take French in school so I liked trying to decode the diary entry.

First fan fiction I've ever read about Sid Vicious and it was actually good. I absolutely love the layout. Another thing I love is your style of writing. It's so lovely. You also describe things very well which is a must have for any good story in my book.

Generally i'm sort of / kind of obsessed with bizarre rockstar deaths, and well , Sid's story is definately in my top 10 xP so I love the idea , and I'm really looking forward to see how you are going to end it - aka if Sid is actually going to die :P - !

Your writing is pretty good , even though i'd love it if the chapters were a bit longer :) ! But generally it's well written and you describe everything that needs to be described pretty well ;D

So I've always had a bit of a crush on Sid, but this in the first fan fic Imve read about him!! Aaaand this is really good so far! i hope you continue with this idea!!! And just a funny little side note, I have a cat named Rotten. Named after Rotten, obviously.

Wow, I know two people have said it already but I have to agree, I've never read or even heard of a fanfic for Sid Vicious before, and I love the originality of it. Keep it up :) can't wait for the next chapter :)

Your story has a nice, original idea. Just like gilderoy-lockhart, I've never read fanfiction about Sid Vicious. I really like the color scheme for this story and how it all ties together. I also like your writing style, but I do think that you need to describe your characters a little more, but that’s just me. Keep up the good work :).

Really original idea, I've never seen anyone do a fan fic on Sid Vicious. I like how the colours of the background all fit together, however, one slightly thing that caught my eye was that when you read the story the writing overlaps the pictures which is slightly distracting, apart from that it is good original idea.
