You are a very, very talented writer! I honestly had no idea what to expect, but once i started reading i was hooked. The language you use is emotive and very descriptive, making the story easy to follow and interesting. I love the heart-warming themes of family and togetherness, and also how at the same time you manage to keep the darker threat of the danger of sea-life hovering. Beautiful, honestly.

I adore your layout! I think it fits perfectly with the story! Your word choice is fabulous. And I love your descriptions! I feel like this story is very unique and original. And I respect that because it can be really difficult to find a story like that on Mibba. Continue writing! I believe this story has a lot of potential! And you are a fantastic writer! Keep going!!! :)

This is phenomenal. I was hit be how brilliant your layout is, to begin with, it really fits the timbre of the writing, and reflects the mood of the writing. Which is fabulous. The moody realism, the simplicity of the story, I really loved it. I'd love to see where it goes!

Gah, you make the most amazing layouts. They're just so beautifully done. :)

And this is really interesting. I'm finding myself thoroughly intrigued at your writing and how you portray the characters. I'm already really enjoying Thea's character. I love it when stories have a strong, likable lead, and she's definitely that. Everything's very original; and not like anything I've read before on mibba or anywhere else. I'm for sure gonna subscribe because I'm excited to see where you take this. More soon, pleaseee! ^_^.

I adore you're story. I love the way you make it seem so utterly dreary and depressing, but favorable. It's a fantastic story. Although I can't help but feel the impending doom that is foreshadowed in the first chapter.

I love the closeness of the family and how tight-nit they appear to be. It's a great story. I'm going to subscribe and I'll be waiting for the next updated chapter.

Your layout is really good as well. It fits the story perfectly.

As you know, I absolutely adore this story and this new chapter did not disappoint. I got a strong sense of family in this chapter and that's is definitely something that I love. There are too many stories of families that are broken and sad, so it's nice to read about one that is still able to come together. Plus, I think it added a bit of happy feeling into the story.

However, I can't help but feel this party is going to lead to something bad. :/ I'm not sure if something is going to happen to Thea's dad or what; I just feel like something bad is going to happened.

Anyways, this was a very nice chapter with only one or two mistakes. There were a few misplaced words, but they weren't that big of deal. I've been subscribed from the beginning, so I'll eagerly be awaiting the next chapter. (:

I personally adore your layout. I'm trying to get mine situated and I just can't seem to get the pretty banners like everyone else has. Sigh.

    But anyway.

Your writing is spectacular. It's so beautiful and I already feel like I'm connecting with Thea's character on a personal level. Though, I can hardly relate to what it means to be the daughter of a fisherman, I think I can grasp at how Thea is feeling when her mother tells her to marry someone like her dad. I love the imagery and the way you carefully detailed the scenery. Great story, I do hope you continue.

This was in regards to the comment swap I promised last night, by the way. My story is pretty long apparently so if you want to stop reading after the first chapter or so, you can.

Wow, this story is brilliant in so many ways. The layout and banner fit it perfectly, and the way you write it has me hanging on every word! I hope Thea ends up happy, and I really can't wait to read the next chapter!

    For the comment swap!

This is a very different story than I'm used to reading, but I really love it. I love how you established the scene at first, and then continue to add details and flesh it out throughout the following chapters. It's really well done, and the layout suits it very well.

I really hope that Thea will be happy, whatever her future holds! :)

First of all, I love the layout and the banner, but I think my favorite is your octopus divider.

I've never read a story about a fisherman. The whole time I was reading this I was thinking about the show deadliest catch! I also thought this had to do with pirates.. lol. I didn't get that, but I was mire than happy with the story.

You describe everything beautifully and I also feel like I am there. I look forward to seeing where this goes in the future, especially with Jake. ;) I'm subbing!

First, I love your layout! It's beautiful. It looks like it's relating to the story, because it is. It's breathtakingly beautiful. I love the banner, too. It's a perfect picture.

Your writing is beautiful. It would be hard to find a single mistake here, it was flawless, too. I love the way you used the tentacles on the summary, like a commenter above said. I love the story, and it's really amazing.

    Great Job!

The layout is breathtaking, I have to admit. I really like the picture of the tentacles on the summary page, I feel that they work well with the layout. The summary pulled me in almost instantly, I haven't read anything quite like this and I thank you for swapping this particular story with me. I'll be honest, I'm not a big fan of third person work but I do really enjoy the way you explain everything without over detailing the paragraphs. I also love that Thea wants to break out of family tradition despite what her parents want for her. I'll definitely swing by from time to time to read more of this. Excellent job!

Wow, this is really amazing. The poem you have in the summary is amazing, but I'll comment on that separately. Your layout is gorgeous as well. The idea is really unique and and your writing is simply beautiful.

I love the tone of it, and how your words flow, it's lovely. I hope this storyline is going where I think it's going, but maybe not >.< Anyway, subscribed!

The layout is so beautiful and pleasant to the eye. It settles extremely well with the mood of the story.
Your writing style is great and flows perfectly.

    I love it and subscribing.

I really like the layout. For me, I like to see one where you can tell that someone has put time and effort in to it, and I definitely got that impression with yours. It's neat and there's not several things going on in it, which is another thing that I look for in a story layout. Very good job on that! :D

Now, onto the story! To be honest, at first I didn't think this would be a topic that I would find interesting. I like the idea and commend you for coming up with something so original, but I highly doubted that this would become something I would spend a great amount of time reading. You proved me wrong though! The further I read the more I was sucked in and now I find myself dying for the next chapter!

There were bits in these first two chapters that I really congratulate you on writing, because I as able to identify so well with the character.

She lived a hard life; not to say she wasn’t grateful for it.

There was much to be found in a few moments with family or anything else that most don’t think much of.

Those two lines were sensational and beautifully portrayed the spirit of this girl.

It's very well written and I think it'll go far!

I'm sorry about how overdue this comment is, seeing as you've commented on two of my stories now.

First off, the layout is gorgeous, I absolutely love it. Also, your writing style is great, it's got a lovely amount of detail in it.I'm curious as to what might happen to Thea and whether she'll meet some hunky sailor, lulz.

Anywho, I really like the story and I'm subbing. My only suggestion is make the dialogue sound a little more natural. It's good though, so don't worry. Byyye.
